Re: Desolate Big Brake Kit
I saw that. Its a really good idea. I was staring at my spindle the other day wondering if there was room to do that. I wonder if its possible to just get the adapters and run say a 4 piston wilwood on the stock rotor?
I'm just here for the views. It helps me feel wanted.
Re: Desolate Big Brake Kit
I'm guessing not since the rotor in this kit is 13" in diameter. One challenge I've found in noodling about using some tab mount calipers similar to the ones in this kit is that the tabs come in pretty close to the knuckle and limit how small a rotor you can use. My research determined that most calipers like that can't be used on 4WD knuckles with rotors that fit under 15" wheels (12" or less).hobbyturnedobsession wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 6:48 amI saw that.
