Yes it will make more power. For example When your cam says that it has a lift of .500 on a roller of 1.6, you need to divide .500 By 1.6= 0.3125. That is the true lift of the cam. Now if you use a 1.7 roller, you multiply 1.7 by 0.3125 with a new lift of .531. Brrm, brrm!!
