Re: Vintage air ac kit
My main thing is how the duct connects to the factory vents? Personally with all the availability of 3D printing there's no excuse to not have the proper parts for everything to mate up in a factory-like manner. Let's see the setup!!

Re: Vintage air ac kit
It’s coming, before I post anything I want to make sure it’s up to standard, I’ve done a few things twice just because of my ocd. I will have a complete, up to par, kit by this Friday. I will post pictures. As for the vents, yes that is the route I will go, I’ll have an aluminum one made and they have them printed. Shoul be a fairly easy process. Thanks for being patient you guys, 2 kids under 2 will make you give up all the fun stuff for a bit! Lol

Re: Vintage air ac kit
Hey what's the story on this mod? I know this forum is half dead but I think you could sell prob 10 kits right off the bat! I know AndyJ is still needing a solution..

Re: Vintage air ac kit
Wow, I'm super interested in this as well. Biggest question for me is where does the main vintage air unit go and what OEM stuff needs to be cut out or modified to let it fit?Whiterhino1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 8:39 amRobert- yes, the battle im fighting is the factory vent adaptation to the 2-1/2 ducting, should have a complete kit very soon!!!!!

Good to hear. I did a GM genv swap and am battling getting the AC going. Would really love to ditch the oem setup.Whiterhino1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 8:39 amRobert- yes, the battle im fighting is the factory vent adaptation to the 2-1/2 ducting, should have a complete kit very soon!!!!!
