Max TTB extension with stock fenders
Max TTB extension with stock fenders
I am in the process of doing a C&T on a set of TTB axle beams for my '96 Bronco. I would like to extend them at the same time to widen the stance and eliviate tire rubbing on the radius arms. I am currently running Camburg radius arms and Solo beams. Is there a consensus of how much you can extend the beams with 35" tires before you have to widen the fenders? I'd like to keep the stock body panels.
Thanks.

I'd just make them stock width- but that's just me.

Sandy Cone runs 1" wheel spacers up front on his bronco to alleviate radius arm rub. Good enough for his Baja expeditions.
If you're set on extending the beams, one a square body with stock alcoas the max extension was 2". How far you can go will be dependent on your wheel offset.

Thanks. I was planning between 1 1/2" and 2".

Only1mikey has the square body bronco that's extended 2" with stock fenders, pretty sure that's what dtbback is thinking of

Max TTB extension with stock fenders
Depends if you are running inner plastic fenders.
Re: Max TTB extension with stock fenders
I guess I will just try to measure the clearance the best I can before I start cutting. Thanks.
