I am planning on upgrading to the edelbrock intake shortly and was thinking about fuel injectors. Im sure it wouldn't hurt to rebuild them but don't have the time to fiddle with that. Anyone have a reliable source for rebuilt injectors? I saw some on ebay for about 80 bucks which to me is worth it. Any info would be great motor is a 92 351w and simply has gt40 heads along with headers for mods so factory is great.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. A simple injector treatment should be plenty. However, if you're going to go throught the trouble you should upgrade to the EV6 injectors. They have 4 orifices, instead of just 1. When you search EBay, specify 97 Explorer with a 5.0. Drop in replacement and upgrade.

I just used Accurate Injectors out of Lake Havasu. Great guy to deal with. My injectors still looked okay when I removed them, though for piece of mind I sent them to be cleaned. They came back looking new, with new seals and he adjustment back within spec. He charges $18 per injector, no matter type. Took 2 days.

Thanks everyone figured since I'm going this far it wouldn't hurt to do it. Are these the correct ones if going to EV6?

Definitely, make sure about the connectors. They should be the same but doubke, triple, and quadruple checking will save you from
headaches.

I'm pretty sure the stock injectors are EV1 and the EV6 need a harness adapter like....

I personally would just -depin the stock harness and put the new connector on the old harness. I doubt the old metal pins are different.
