I bought a 91 F150 4x4 that was wrecked in the front end off Craigs. It has a 5.0,M5OD, working A/C etc. with 75K.I took out the whole engine, body, fuel harnesses. Motor sat and had some water in the cylinders (head gasket in perfect condition) from rain storms.The truck started and ran almost perfectly. I took the heads off going to get checked out and install new valve seals. I was going to pull out pistons,hone cylinders, put on new rings. I'm on a real tight budget...
I'm thinking of installing a RV cam and replacing the lifters. Any thoughts? Been awhile since I have done and engine overhaul. Looking for any links to Torque specs etc. Thanks for any help, pm
