Thanks. There’s a few more things to do but I’m pretty happy with it.

One of the issues I found with most boxes, prior to the Front Runner boxes, is that I couldn’t strap them down tightly… most collapse under the load. I would check that before purchasing.

Understood...I have a bunch of the black/yellow 27gal crates from Costco...they are pretty sturdy and cheap, lol

I run 2 of those clear top husky totes and they've proven to be more durable that my old action packers. Having the gasket in the lid keeps all the dust and water out. I've even put them on a receiver mounted cargo basket hanging off the back of the bronco and zero infiltration.

I started out with Pelican cases years ago. Then switched to the Front Runners in an effort to lighten the load. The issue with both Front Runners and Zarges is that they aren’t dust/waterproof if you need that. Most of the time, I don’t need that since they are inside the rig instead of on the rig.

If I was starting out, I would seriously look at those Husky cases posted above. They’re dust/waterproof and Made in the USA. I generally try to pack most things into waterproof dry bags in an effort to save on weight, but for a lot of these items, you really need a box of some sort.

I really like that setup for storage. I want to put storage under a shelf and a sliding drawer. If I can fit one, I would like to fit a are refrigerator under there also.

Dreaming out loud. To many other things to do on my project for now.

It’s that time of the year. Prepping for Rage to the River... I can’t say it’s last-minute, but certainly later than I’d like, but this on [every trip] sneaks up on me. Despite the ample warning!

I’m getting some basic prep/look over done on the car, and hoping to hand off the checklists to baby kiddo so I can focus on the things that are actually attached to the car as opposed to those that are packed just in case….
