Bassani headers
Bassani headers
Does anyone have detailed pics of their Bassani headers installed? I specifically need to see the passenger side header. I need to see how much the header goes over the frame rail.. My passenger side shock hoop is in top of the frame rail vs the side of the frame rail. I just want to be prepared if I have to cut the shock hoop and re-do it before I start installing the headers.
Thanks

Re: Bassani headers
Here is a picture for reference. Doesn’t look like it from the picture but there is over an inch between the tube and manifold.
If anyone has a similar pic of their bassani headers installed it would be appreciated.
Thanks

You’ll definitely need to cut that tube out.

Re: Bassani headers
Good call on the spark plug protectors, Andy. Wilson has a couple burned plug wire boots... I have the protectors, just need to install them.

Keep an eye on the header bolts. I for whatever reason always had one that would come loose....until I did the locking ARP bolts.
Go get the Bassani Y Pipe now, the y pipe with those headers work sooooooo well together.

Y pipe is already installed!! Did the whole shabang... headers, y pipe and their cat. And yes they all work very well together.tcm glx wrote:Keep an eye on the header bolts. I for whatever reason always had one that would come loose....until I did the locking ARP bolts.
