mastercraft baja rs recliner doesnt lock properly

anyone ever had this issue? seats are less than a year old, i have reached out to mastercraft multiple times with out a response, so im hoping someone else ran into this issue and had a solution i could do on my own.

Doesn't lock at all? or just moves around a little forward and backward once locked into position. Mine do the latter.

The driver side literally will go flat if I lean against it

Mine did that once or twice when it was new. About 3 years later and it never happened again. Maybe pull the side plates off and check that the pins are locking in place properly. Might just need to be aligned.

thanks man, i pulled the plate off the other day but ran out of time, gonna have to see if i have some time to address it this weekend
