Hello All,
Looking to hear from you all about the fit and quality of carpet and headliner kits?? There are some smoke burns and smell that I would like to get rid of -- the gray color stains easily too. Do the carpet kits fit nicely or are they terrible? I am looking to do the front, back wheel wells and tailgate. The headliner replacement I think is pretty straight forward by just removing the old cardboard backed piece in the front and then replace. Not sure how the rear part where the hardtop goes on. Is the headliner in the back a cardboard backed piece or glued to the top itself??
thanks,
Matt

I've bought carpet foxbody carpet from that company as well as ACC and both were good quality. Just let it sit out in the sun so it's pliable and throw it in the truck. It's already formed very well the the floor but being warm helps it settle. It will have a rubbery smell for a few days.

Remind me not to post on my phone with all those errors. You get the idea

Another option would be to use bed liner on the floor areas. ( this can be tinted to whichever color you want). A Fallon can get you 2.5 coats and is decently thick and damped road noise. However it is permanent for the most part (you could scrap it off .. No fun)

I think rmc used a caroet kit with success-- I think. I surely wouldn't dot own headliner for what it costs to have it done by a pro.

Re: Carpet and Headliner Kit/Replacement Opinions..
I used there bronco kit, the rear section was too long, I ended up removing 6 inches from the center because the wheel well cut outs were over in length by 4-6 inches. Mine is glued to the floor ontop of peel n seal, it looked pretty decent quality wise though but clearly room for improvement. What I should have done is contacted them and had them correct the discrepancy. It was almost like they sent me an expedition rear section. I didn't really are in my case though because is below the rear seat where I seamed it. Call them before you buy and ask them what to do if it dosnt fit correctly and if there willing to make it right if it were to be long or short like in my case.
