art carr shifter????

Do they make an art carr style shifter for an e4od or am i shit out of luck?

Isn't it just a three speed shifter with a push button overdrive? I think the shifter would be the same as any 3-speed auto. You'll have to do something about the linkage at the trans, though.

Art Carr does sell a shifter for the e4od, with linkage. The question is, do you need a manual valve body in order for it to work?

I don't see why you would. All the shifter does is put the lever on the transmission in a specific gear.

cool i found the one for the e4od. still not sure about the manual valve body. i might give them a call tomorrow and see ill let you guys know what i find out. thanks for the help guys.

Install a micro switch so when you click 3rd gear straight on the shifter you can slap into the gate to the right and activate the switch for OD.
