Take cover off tailgate, Zip tie lockout lever down to bottom off tailgate. Latch will now work all the time.

Anyone done a regulator on the rear window? When I was out this past weekend my rear window decided to stop working. Then on one of our runs it decided to slam all the way down. The motor still works. I managed to push it up and wedge a piece of wood to hold it up. But now I have to fix it. Has anyone done a write up on this yet?

It's probably the runner doodads in the regulator gear. They are $25 at the auto parts store and 12-15 online. Just pull the regulator off, remove the motor from the regulator, pull off the cover and install new gear with doodads. I had to replace them in every window.

I saw those doodads when I googled bronco window regulator. I'll have to take it apart this weekend and inspect that assembly. Thanks for the info.

What year is your bronco again Jose? In my 92 the gears are rebuildable however on 96 broncos the covers come off but they don't sell that gear at Oreilly or vatozone. I ended up getting the whole motor instead.

The whole TG is bowed out. Bottom of tg is about 3/4 of an inch bowed from center towards sides about 12 inches. Someone must of laid heavy stuff on it. Window trips breaker Cruz of the strain. Window squeezed!?! Has any one used a portapower to attempt to straighten tg some? I can use a cordless battery to run window down but it just about shatters. I loosened the up/down tracks and window slides on and it works a ill better.
