Transmission cooler lines

Post by jjconn »

The east coast rust has eaten another part of my bronco. I replaced my brake and power steering lines in SS the trans lines looked ok so we held off on those, well big mistake 15min in to her maiden voyage the return line has a leak. I can bend new lines out of steel but to get SS in bent lines I would need to order. My question is inlinetube.com has prebent SS lines for a 93 e4od will they work on my 95? If I'm going to order I will just get prebent save some time.
Thanks

Doesn't your local auto store sell the steel coated lines? They bend easy without a bending tool. The only issue using them is the diameter available. Making end fittings probably will mess up the coating. I use push on hose to connect them.

Thanks for the heads up, never saw the stuff. PVF coated lines, about half the price as SS tube I'll be looking tomorrow at a chain parts supplier, always go to the local mom and pop first they only had steel tube.
