Updates: Forum software, appearance, etc.

Post by SteveG »

Yeah, I'm finally making time to update the forum. Please let me know if there are still malware issues.

We lost the "style" in the update as the old one is not compatible with the new software. This one will do for now but I'm still looking for one I like. I hope to update some of the features as well. At the top of the list is the embedding of Youtube videos. It appears the easy editing went away with the update, too, so I have to relearn a few things.

Thanks for your patience.

I also need to add Tapatalk again. Even though it's been ruined by all the updates!

Where is the "new posts" button?

My shortcut was linked to that and still works like it did, but the button itself has gone missing.

Not that you need anymore work or anything LOL........

It's in the "Quick links" in the top left under the photo of the Bronco.

I enabled photo sharing on Tapatalk. I read it might take up to 24 hours for it to take effect.

Great job on the update! Although I miss the old appearance the forum is still very easy to navigate! I work graveyards and not having my gfb fix was causing withdrawal symptoms lol.

When I was updating, I didn't realize the old appearance mods wouldn't carry over. Well probably change it later but this will do for now.

Just an FYI: I just logged on to the site on my phone's browser and was impressed by how good it looked. The new software and appearance is very mobile device friendly. It might be time to give Tapatalk the finger!
