Just trying out Firefox because my IT guy said I would be happy with the speed.
Sure enough it is many times faster than IE. Trouble is I cannot log in, so I cannot post, etc.
I get the login window, fill it out , but it never happens.
Any Suggestions would be helpful
This message is via IE
Thanks, PaulW

Hmm. Typically it's the other way around. Maybe FireFox is set to not save cookies?

Great now Firefox had grabbed my gfb site and it wont let me login, post or view new posts or reply.

Cookies are all there and active. If you have a suggestion that would be great otherwise I will live with the slow IE and dump firefox
Thanks, Paul

Weird, I had the exact same problem but the other way around. I'm now using Firefox for GFB and a couple other sites that IE won't log into anymore. I never did find a reason why.

Right now neither one will log into desert rides..........

Try clearing all cookies and cache and then restarting the browser.

FF is great, but man is it a memory hog. When I get a couple of windows open and a bunch of tabs in each, I regularly use over a gig of ram.

Paul, try a system restore back about 2 weeks, see if that helps.

Is your FF without any add-on's or plug-in's? aka naket.

More then likely it is something in your windows configuration: Particularly if you are running 7
Check your firewall settings first and from there go to the troubleshooting function in the help tab and take a look at the settings, compare them to iE.
FF Help has usually solved the puzzles that have stumped me.
