Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
I like to take 1/4" aluminum that's tapped to act like a big rigid "washer" of sorts. I epoxied the aluminum to the back of the dash so that it just adds to the stability- to me a simple washer just makes pull thru way to easy.

Re: Drill Bits
The HF titanium is garbage if you work with steel. The Dewalt were a great bit but like the tester the Bosch is what I would buy. That's my think is to buy a 29 piece jobber set of Champion, Bosch Irwin - I'd just like to not have a drawer of bits when 29 will do lol

Drill Bits
Hello All, I have bought those huge sets from Hf in the past - like 128 bits with the fractional, number and number sizes - anyway I have tons of these drive LP bits and half of them are dead. Question is what's a brand/set you can recommend because my set of you want to call it that is a huge mess....

If you get that factory intake Extrude honed I'd love to know the cost. I'd really love to know a before Dyno tune and an after tune to see the numbers. Not sure if an extrude honed truck intakes can net the power of say a stock GT-40 but it would be a cool test.

Re: Vintage air ac kit
My main thing is how the duct connects to the factory vents? Personally with all the availability of 3D printing there's no excuse to not have the proper parts for everything to mate up in a factory-like manner. Let's see the setup!!

Re: HD Jack stands needed
One of the best investments a long travel owner can buy is a set of pipe stands or buying the stuff to make your own - whatever you choose the $160 investment is a must and a great one.

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
Thanks Robert - this build is closer to the end where I can actually drive it. Being spread out to so many places for so long has caused issues but the result has been pretty good but way too expensive lol! The console is really turning out well but it's one of those things where you just can't cut ...

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
Well looking at most of the factory navigation units on cars and trucks I see - they are all central and pretty straight up and down. Obviously this isn't a race car or it would have 2 units or just on the pass side. I was hoping to just have the screen be easily visible from the pass side or driver...

Re: Rear Interior Cargo Light conversions??
Im talking about interior light thats white and a bunch of it. The LED replacement bulbs are almost nonsense as far as output. I want something that when you turn it on you almost get too much light truthfully.

Guys I thought this sounded like an amazingly fun time and intentionally wanted a basic gathering of like minded FSB guys but that’s not really happened. Flakes need not apply lol - I’ve already had 1 too many of those. If anyone else wants to get out, drive around the Nevada desert for an afternoon...

Rear Interior Cargo Light conversions??
Hello All, Anyone else put LED lights in the rear interior cargo lights and still feel like the shitty little light with a blue hue is just terrible - same for the dome?? It just needs more white light volume. So here’s an idea for the initiated with a 3D printer- a housing that fits the stock mount...
