Re: Handheld Radios.... what is everyone using!
The BF-F8HP attached to the Nagoya NA-771 is legit. Very happy with it at the mint. Used it all day race day and the battery still says full and the reception and volume output was excellent. Great little radio.

Steering Systems - Stock, Superunner & Equal Len. Crossover
Hrm. Well that's a bummer. I bought the raybestos professional line stuff hoping that would be decent quality over their service line. At least It was cheap. I'm going to sleeve it with chromoly as well so hopefully will be better than stock but I'll bring stocks along as spares. I'll report back wi...

Re: Steering Systems - Stock, Superunner & Equal Len. Crossover
It took me way too long to find all this and then verify that it fit (Kris did the actual fitment checking), so I thought I'd post the info to keep you you guys from having to do the legwork again. The following image gives you Raybestos (used to be Spicer) part numbers for upgrading (larger diamet...

Re: Handheld Radios.... what is everyone using!
Thanks for the frequency info and radio recommendation. I'm digging the new BF-F8HP. Easy to use and program with chirp. Looking forward to breaking it in at the Mint this weekend.

Re: how when and where do the power steering systems fail?
I'm going to try and pick up a couple 5.8 brackets with the saginaw pump/pulley. I can run them through a parts washer a few tunes to get pretty clean - what's the market on something these would you all say? Glad to be the first (i think) customer on this. Planning to replace factory pressure line...

Re: Handheld Radios.... what is everyone using!
Good info here, i just picked up a Boafeng BF-F8HP with an Nagoya antenna.
I just downloaded the chirp software as well and working on figuring that out. Anybody out there have a default "offroad" radio list they wouldn't mind sharing?

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Got the 38 gallon rear tank in, and Jonny re-did the bumper supports. We opted not to run tubes below the tank since they'd be scrapers for sure. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b285/nubreed71/IMG_2033_zps2c275207.jpg How did the rear tank install go? Pretty straight forward? I still haven't gott...

Truck looks awesome, really digging the steering. Definitely on the upgrade list for my rig one of these days.
Re: Malware?
I had the same issue a couple days ago. Happened several times and I'm sure I didn't click on the banner. I was clicking on the next page link in a thread.

Seats lookin' good in there! Bummer about the cost of a tune up! I bet its not tough to just tighten them up a bit, but really they seemed comfy and good to me so i'm surprised you want to mess with them.

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Ran into a lil bit of a snag on the rear bumper...just realized those diagonal supports for the receiver hitch are gonna get in the way of swapping in a 38 gallon replacement rear tank. My options at this point are: 1. Leave rear bumper as is, and leave my gas tanks alone. This would mean I'd have ...

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Ya now I REALLY like the way the bumper is looking. Very slick. I also really like the welding jig/strap idea he's got rig'd up there. Cool idea to keep it from warping.
