Re: 2-way comm sets. School me...
Trailteamsix , Probably no an applicable comment for most of the readers since they have open rigs with headsets or helmets. If you have an enclosed rig then an intercom can be avoided. Make the rig quiet and be happy without an intercom without headsets or helmets. Otherwise spendy even with bargai...

Re: Drill Bits
Here in Baja I have a small set of Dewalt bits and a set of HF ones for my cheapy electric screwdriver for those very light duty jobs . Back home in Colorado I have large collection of HF bits and have to use the sharpener most every time I use them. I seem to break a lot of them. Good thing I have ...

Re: Lets Talk Full Floater
When installing a full floater the bearings have to have a spacer between them. If i were to do it again I would look into a unit bearing. I wonder if the housing could accept the big UB Sandy cone does the spacer correctly on a big 9" What the spacer does is make 2 bearings work like a UB to preven...

Re: Not NAPA Starters
Just curious what is wrong with a stock ford unit?
My stock unit was good after 15 years in the desert and a huge number of miles.
My latest starter for the EB is from NAPA and made in china. Not worried it will be a problem. Hey it is just a starter - right?

Re: Ford 9" Disc Brake Options - Advice?
Todd reminded me about my wilwood setup. The movement of the retaining plate on my axle resulted in bent retaining plate which is why I switched to Varga/Ford calipers. Those wilwood plates were not very strong due to thickness.

Re: Ford 9" Disc Brake Options - Advice?
Stan, about the ebrake. Do you want drums or mechanical calipers. Both have advantages and disadvantages. For off road use the non drum e brake has the advantage of no rocks caught in the drum area. The big disadvantage of the no drum is of much less stopping power. The brake will hold the rig on sl...

Or you need to figure out how to register a modified Bronco/pickup that does no have a CARB legal motor.
Sure enough it is being done.

Re: Rear Interior Cargo Light conversions??
Pretty easy to find LED swaps off the web. They do not cost much . I had them on all my lights - doors overhead and cargo. And noticeable improvement. I even noticed there was a guy that sold all of them as a package. I suspect I saw that on EBAY? The overhead and cargo needed to have some shoe glue...

Re: Saginaw PS Pump
No pn for the remote Res can back. Not a canned ham source. Pump is a Ford source with the back shown (middle pic). Use the pump with can requires a standalone reservoir which I will post later. What I am selling primarily is a detailed pump. Use it with either back. Comes with a new o-ring to seal ...

Re: New Bronco from the factory??
I cannot tell how to get about heated seats, but I think they are universally available. Order Sasquatch with the required suspension for tall tires/gears. Sell the beadlock ready rims and 35" tires probably make a profit. You will still get many things you may not want because ford has to sell to t...

I will probably buy one, but not the first year. === Yes it is a serious consideration that first year is not good. However The truck will come with a proven drive train and one of the most reliable with the 2.7/10 speed. But there are other issues to consider, like the electronics and other unique...

Re: New Bronco from the factory??
Just got back from the Bronco Super Celebration West in Buena Vista CO. Yes, another award for my EB. Lots of Broncos. Mostly EBs but plenty of full size like the ones favored by most on this forum. Two 21 Broncos on display, a Sport (SUV) and a Badlands manual with the ecoboost 4 cyl. Anyway, they ...
