"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Tonight I installed the license plate properly, as it was just zip tied on. I drew the bracket up real quick on the computer and had my friend Ray at Rayzor Sharp Plasma cut it out for me. I also installed some sound deadening to try and quiet the cab down some. Did the inside of the doors and the r...

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Got lucky at the local JY today. Was able to find a 14 Bolt rear end from a 75 Chevy van, some camper special F350 beams/radius arms/spindles, and a new set of hood hinges. They are pulling the parts for me right now... so that means I will be able to get started on the new front suspension and rear...

Wrightracing.net wrote:Sounds Cool. Just a quick question, what was the reasoning on Solid U-joint versus ones with zerk fittings?
They are stronger. Also, the zerks have no benefit as I never get under the truck and lube anything.

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Little update on Gumby... I bent the drive line due to an interference issue with a carrier bearing mount that was never removed. I dropped the drive line off at Adam's Driveshaft in Las Vegas to get it repaired and a spare made. Unfortunately it has 1310 joints so the spare will have to wait until ...

Yes, you can shear or even use it on a metal brake.

I cut with a circular saw and a "fence" and used a file real quick to knock the edge down.

Re: 1994 Bronco for General Tire Media

I loved that my trailer was 102" wide until I had to tow it around Baja... 90" wide max in the future...

Also, Taller is better down there... my license plate folded up the first Pemex we hit.

I haven't updated this in a while. I put 39s, newer headlights, fiberglass, and built a front bumper for it. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160421/27c02316ff99212018da60f54039d8e6.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160421/d08727831335ca267aba9d0448ea4d8a.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...

Love the truck. It looks like a chunk of the rear passenger side fiberglass got taken out? Was it from the tires? I love the 39's... David... The tire and glass had contact from everything flexing around. The heim on the wishbone came loose that that may be part of it too. The glass will be getting...

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Looking good, Philo. Except for the center console... the same one my Bronco had. I hated those "cup holders". They were more light cup ripper overers... just tall enough to turn your drink upside down under any kind of braking turning... pretty much any kind of driving. Yes. They suck. Going to ta...
