Re: Dana 50 third member in a Dana 44 Housing.
I'll ask when I pick it up from the diff shop. New arb, master install kit and axel u joints getting installed. I should have it back next week sometime. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk Cool, I have a ARR for my Dana 44 and I will put it in when I re-gear from 410 to 513. I also want to change...

Re: Transmission Crossmembers Post up
That's a great set up! I see the front and the middle bolts on, but there rear is welded to the bottom of the frame? I really like the setup and just might do something similar. Pat, the tubes in the back have theaded inserts and they bolt to the bottom of the frame. You can sort of see them in the...

Re: Dana 50 third member in a Dana 44 Housing.
Pretty sure the 44s. What size u joint is in the 44? 1310? Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk I think the 1310, but not sure. I do know the Dana 50 runs 1350 and the outer spline counts are 35. So I will probably go with the bigger axles and I like the idea of bigger F250 brakes without having to...

Mine is 30 spline and uses the bolt in stub shaft aswell. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk Are you running the Dana 50 or 44 axle shafts? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230927/c1e8e8d5f528bf84d96cd73ff7606e85.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230927/1d25cb52c199597719238d366002f53d.jpg...

Yea I am lol- not a scammer or an idiot I don't know Matt? [emoji41][emoji16][emoji1787][emoji1787] I run all my Hella 4000's with conversion kits. I use to use the external ballasts but the last 2 I converted, I found ballasts that were small enough to fit inside the housing. I had to remove the h...

Re: Dana 50 third member in a Dana 44 Housing.
I have a 50 in my 44 beams. Bolts right in. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk Are you running the 1350 - 35 spline outer axle shafts from a Dana 50? That was one of the things I liked about the Dana 50 stuff, but I did find out that the Dana 44 and Dana 50 have the same inner 30 spline count, so...

Re: Dana 50 third member in a Dana 44 Housing.
Another question I am wondering is if a Dana 60 hub will work on a Dana 50 spindle. I found a new 5 on 5.5 Dana 60 hub from Yukon and when I contacted them, they did not know. I would like to stay 5 on 5.5 up front and rear if possible. The Dana 60 hubs are what I want to use on the rear when I do a...

Re: Start Your Go-Fast Build-Front Suspension
Ok, front shock setup question. I have had this question in my brain for awhile and the person that was my go to, passed away a few year's back. I am thinking valving on the coilover and bypass on each corner up front on the Bronco. Along time ago, I heard a friend say splitting the rebound and comp...

Re: ISO Preferred spring rate and initial valving front
I know this is a 3 year old thread, But I will be running 2.5x16 fox coilover's and a 2.5x16 bypass. The coilover's will be running a 16"x500lbs and a 16"x450lbs springs. What kind of droop should I expect with minimal preload. The Bronco will have a 351w, C6, steel fenders and hood. I was just wond...

Re: 12v electric Air Conditioning
Certainly not enough capacity for a Bronco cab and the price is high, but these units have been around for a while for Porsche 911s. https://www.classicretrofit.com/en-us/products/electric-air-conditioning-for-classic-911-dual-condenser-1 Todd Z. Those are crazy expensive [emoji15] I am thinking of...

Re: 12v electric Air Conditioning
Hey David, good info. I was mostly joking about a mini-split but you mean business! Definitely on the right path with LIfepo4 batteries and DC to DC charging, not that I'm any expert. Did set up a frig in a 4Runner with a Bluetti Lifepo4 battery with built in MPPT and two 100 watt panels on a RTT. ...

Re: Lets talkk cold air intakes
I am in the same boat with the engine cage. I am also ditching the Factory fuel injection to run a Edlebrock Super Victor MPFI intake, 1450 Edlebrock 1000cfm throttle body and run a low profile dual output plenum to K&N canister air filters with filter wraps. Since my motor will be a stroker in the ...

Re: 12v electric Air Conditioning
The RV type would probably need a custom design mount to protect it. I use to have my roof rack tied to the cage through the fiberglass shell and used a solid mount, so the rack and cage did not move separately to protect the shell. I still think it would be nice and cool in 120° summer weather. And...

Re: 12v electric Air Conditioning
The ones on the Quigley and Spriter's seem to hold up. But I think the units I posted about are much more compact and cheaper.

Re: Complete rear end setup 21" travel
If you still have this, what are you asking for the package or are you willing to part out? I would be interested in the 64" springs, hangers and shackles.
