Re: Lug nuts

5/8 is too small. 11/16 is the way to go.

Re: What is this off of?

The only year I have ever seen them on is 82 F100... which I believe was the last year of F100. The F150 of that year had highly desirable 1" kingpin beams. Ford did some weird lets use parts up shit in the early 80s. Those beams may have come from me... I sold a set at the Leduc swap meet years ago.

Re: What is this off of?

You can modify those anyway you want. Move the balljoint for alignment, extend them, whatever.

The hubs/rotors are most likely 5x4.5.

I don't think I'd use them for anything but a mild Ranger.

Front end vibration when front hubs are locked

You need to make sure they are parallel. Same as a driveline.

Re: Front end vibration when front hubs are locked

Yep. If the u-joints are clocked wrong you will get a smooth left right wobble in the steering wheel.

This video helps people understand the pulsation that is created from u-joints.

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Small update. I ordered fiberglass from Autofab, Glassworks Unlimited (after being warned by many), and Unlimited Products. Autofab is already done with my bedsides and they are ready to pickup (In under two weeks), Unlimited Products should be done in another two weeks, and Glassworks has no idea I...

I don't want to break up the set of 7. 2 or 3 will never sell by them self.

All is located in Mohave Valley, AZ (Near Laughlin). Can possibly deliver to SoCal in a few weeks when my new fiberglass is done. Wouldn't an 80s 4x4 GM box be easier to find?

Fort Mohave, yes. Needles, no. Needles has smog since it is San Bernardino county.

"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

I scrapped the cab that came with the last 71 I got... funny how that works. This truck came this built beams, radius arms, Autofab trans mount, Autofab engine mounts, a bunch of Alcoa wheels, BFG Bajas, and a ton of other parts. Extra set of doors too. There might be more... I haven't unloaded all ...

"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Picked up a 71 for the cab. Came with lots of goodies I can sell or use. While I was in Phoenix I stopped by SDHQ and purchased a bunch of stuff for the rebuild. Mainly a 14 bolt shave kit made by Ballistic Fab and a cool latch for my center console. The floor in this truck is amazing, not even surf...

I'll be chasing for Danzio / Rockstar TT #90.

Hoping the new format is fun and my hotel in Tonopah has a pool or jacuzzi.

Re: The F-Bomb

Sorry for stressing you out! I got pulled to secondary but no one hassled me for anything crossing.

The highlight was a old cop walking up to the truck at the very beginning of the border line (leaving Mexico) and telling me in Spanish I was stupid for rolling my truck. Lol.

Re: The F-Bomb

My truck never got hot until I started prerunning Baja... then I started having fuel issues... then I rolled it.

Funny thing is, it was hotter at home than it was in Baja.

Must be one of those Baja things....
