Re: Mad Max: Fury Road

From this point on I'll only be seeing movies for the plot. Mad Max has already perfected what I'll ever witness for an action movie.

A critic had this to say: "the first car chase in the film is one of the best car chases I've ever seen and it is by far the worst car chase in the movie."

Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator Tuning

Speed density systems are really bad dealing with upgrades to the intake side of the system, and especially with larger cams. Increasing fuel pressure will make the injectors flow more fuel which will cause their firing durations to be dialed back. It will only cause issues.

Re: Springs!

I had Deaver J40s in the back with a 1" longer shackle and the 5" deaver coils up front with a taller bucket. Rode on the the street and the dirt great.

Because they generate a stronger exhaust pulse on the lower rpm end of things which increases torque there.

Re: The Knife Thread

I can't even remember when I bought this anymore. Could probably use a sharpening to clean up the blade, but it's still pretty sharp. I've even mailed it home a couple times when I've forgotten to take it out of my pocket before going to the airport.

Re: Random Conversation with Sandy Cone

I was talking to him at Parker a couple years ago and he remembered the rear end he built for my dad in the early 90s. Super nice guy.

What is an old Rancho lift kit worth?

Found one in the wrecking yard for $150. Seeing if it's worth buying.

Be careful with the econoline rear ends. Some of the them have a pretty offset 3rd member.

Re: Bronco Raptor

I like the interior but it seems like you could make a bronco way faster than a raptor for a lot less money. Cool concept, but I would probably never do it.
