Ok now after remarks. What's the best way too see if my tubes are straight after welding the truss tube I really don't want to f things up but if I do I have another housing too start with.

Get your lift on and run 35s so your not spending money on 33s and then want too switch too 35s afterwords. Those are stock wheels for the 80s. I had the same thing on mine when I first got it.

The truss where it mates too the housing but have not found where any one has done it.

I was thing of just welding too the tubes and adding gussets inside next too the diff. This isn't something I can bring too work and tig up was also thanking of preheating the housing and welding the tube diameter along with

Played hooky from work too get the rear end back in the slut. But once I piped the old pinion out and bearing off too get the shim for assembly I found out it was wasted and starting to fail.
