Looking to find a safe place in Barstow to park car for couple weeks. My sister is coming down from Vegas and meeting someone off I-40 to drive to Oklahoma. Hoping someone knows a place where her car can park safely while she's gone.

That last 10-15' thing is exactly what it would do when I had it. It never did it at high speed yet I always thought it was just rotors and since it was at such a low speed, I never was bothered by it (being I didnt drive it much except straight to the dirt). Interested to see if this is the issue.

John, You can put the springs back on, they mount to the tabs sticking out from the firewall. Problem is, everyone has problems with firewall cracking at the hinges so I removed them to limit the force on the hinges. Check out Yikes build thread, he has had to replace the hinges and repair the firew...

Its more than beam width, its its total width... including wheel offset that drives your clearance and needs/issues. Not a simple yes/no answer.

YAY!! Its a good thing you made such great time in the beginning of this project..... you're still on schedule for a decent time even with all the delays.
