The only specialty tool you need is a bearing puller. A harbor freight press, impact wrench, and micrometer will be enough with a bearing puller to regear your diff. It’s really not hard at all, only takes patience. The money you would spend on labor (~$300) you can buy all the tools and do it yours...

I wouldn’t mess with the front hanger. You can either take the springs to deaver and ask them to re arch them to take some of the lift out or you can take out the wedge block, cut off the spring perches, and weld new spring perched on with the correct pinion angle to eliminate the wedge blocks. I’ve lifted broncos as described above with no issues. You can also strap it to the lift if you feel unsafe. We use stands because we are poor from buying too many truck parts.
