Re: My VERY mild DD

Okay guys, so I made a super bonehead mistake replacing my water pump. As opposed to using the plate to pump gasket during install I.e: http://i907.photobucket.com/albums/ac276/brendansoriano/8D5543C7-07BB-4A39-B8F2-0[URL=http://s907.photobucket.com/user/brendansoriano/media/C8BB369B-D6C7-4575-AC1C-...

Re: 1993 TTB F150 XLT

Clean start dude! Reminds me of mine when I was in high school, leveled on black wheels and 33s, and now I'm about 3.5-4 inches up and back on Alcoas and 35s haha. Be careful on that eraser wheel though! They'll totally burn and stain the paint if you're too rough or hold it in one place too long. I...

Re: My VERY mild DD

Haven't really messed with this thing in a while, got a new DD that I've been playing around with. I've been toying around with throwing some sort of a roof rack on the shell though, maybe to hold a spare 35" and mount a jerrycan and some led floods to. I'd like to be able to run a spare somewhere o...

Re: 1992 F-150 Custom

Truck looks rad! Cool find with the Rcsb and 5.8, it's like a baby version of mine haha. Those wheels are next on my list too. I hope you keep this thing a pretty cool little simple rig!

Re: My VERY mild DD

In an attempt to make this thing alittle nicer to camp in, started fixing up the shell alittle. New third brake light and all new molding to get it air and water tight again, and then devised a way to throw in some clean, simple little curtains. All stuff I picked up cheap from target and the fabric...

Re: My VERY mild DD

That's what I thought, these trucks do have spindle bearings though. They're needle bearings that press into the backside of the spindle itself. Not the knuckle, but the spindle. I can imagine that if its worn, it could cause some play. I remember reading on a thread too how someone's camber bushing...

Re: My VERY mild DD

And one more thing, I can feel it. Like just the slightest in the floorboards, I can feel the noise, if I could describe it a certain way, the best I can do is say it's kinda grainy feeling and intermittent, but slightly that I can just barely notice it's there

Re: My VERY mild DD

Jack Up that side of the truck and spin the tire. See if it's making noise aside from the rotor moving through the caliper. What kind of noise? Squealing? Squeak? Grinding? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Truck has brand new timken wheel bearings, ball joints, calipers, pads, radius arm bushings...

Re: My VERY mild DD

Could bad spindle bearings be giving me some noise from the front end even in 2wd?

i checked it out and followed the loom and the wire taps straight into the bottom of the fuse box just like the other three, so I'm alittle stumped

Thanks dude! Your bronco looks killer too! I'm jealous of that hood for sure..

Have any idea if that bright green wire should be hooked up to something though?

Re: My VERY mild DD

Anyone wanna help me out? There's a plug on the drivers side of the master cylinder with 4 wires, all of my wires are connected, except for a light green one that goes to no where. It's not the darker green one with a stripe, but a plain lighter green one. Can anyone help me out as to where it's sup...

Re: My VERY mild DD

What does everyone run for atf? Sorry for all the mainenance questions, but on forums I've found a lot of people who don't like synthetic blends, like the valvoline max life I'm using (dextron/mercon; mercon LV compatible) thanks!

Re: My VERY mild DD

I wouldn't neccessarily call them "problems" as much as me being really picky and hypersensitive. The truck never exhibited more than the occasional slightly firm 1-2 and a firm reverse engagement. From what I'd heard, pretty normal occurrences on the e4od. After pulling codes, replacing every senso...

What version are you running? Considering I'm running his most mild, and it'll still hit pretty hard from time to time and almost leap forward

Re: My VERY mild DD

Nope, for all intents and purposes motor and tranny are 100% stock. For all I know, I might just be overacting and the computer just needs to figure everything out still. The shifts aren't so jarring that I'm hearing metal on metal thuds or it feels like limp mode or anything.

Re: My VERY mild DD

From what my eyes tell me, yes. I haven't checked voltages yet. I'm also getting a bit of a brownish fluid from the sensor, which is super odd? I did check though, it's a 96 casting but he drills exhaust holes to remedy any inconsistencies. I've been emailing him as well, and he seemed alittle stump...
