1 OEM Alcoa
I have 2 in really good condition but some Chevy nut drilled them to 5x5 and put some kind of insert to compensate. I’ll give them to you for cheap but you will have to get them filled and drilled to 5x5.5 or just drill new holes in the spaces between the old holes. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...

2.5 smooth body vs 2.5 bypass king shocks
With a 12” under the bed you almost use the full shock shaft before the springs separate. If you have an e4od you are limited by your driveshaft angle. With a 14” under then bed your lower shock tabs will be hanging down off the axle really far and you will not end up using the whole shaft anyways. ...

Bronco Hunting - What to Look For?
Be weary of buying a “built” truck. Especially if it wasn’t build at a reputable shop. I’ve seen a lot of hack jobs even on rancho lifts.

2.5 smooth body vs 2.5 bypass king shocks
A bypass is not really needed on the front of the ttb if you set up the shocks correctly because you can have the shocks bump out at a 90° angle to the beams. Bypasses only help the front if you need the tuning on the fly or are not able to set up the shock in the correct position.

2.5 smooth body vs 2.5 bypass king shocks
Since the ideal angle for maximum dampening is 90°, any angle away from this causes the shocks to be less effective. You can mostly counter act this by having the the shocks change dampening rate as they travel through their cycle. The usual 3 tube bypasses (2 compression/1 rebound) gives you 3 comp...

1350 Slip yoke
Do you mean slip joint driveshaft with a double Cardan joint. Or slip yoke like on an F150 where the driveshaft slips in and out of the xfer case.

Either they took a crewcab f350 2wd and shortened the rear of the frame (under the front of the bed) or they took a super cab f150 and lengthened the middle of the frame (under the cab). Or 96-97 you could get a crewcab shortbed F250. I guess you would just have to look at the frame. The F250-350 fr...

Steering general suspension questions - Dallas TX
With the engine off, have your wife turn the steering wheel back and forth slowly (don’t turn the wheels) while you look under at the steering. If any of the tie rod joints are blown out you will see them moving around. If the steering linkages are tight and there is a ton of play before the pitman ...

Converting 95 Hood Latch to Manual???
I believe they all had cables. My 82 did and 81. The difference is the secondary latching mechanism. The later ones you have to put your hand through the grill vs under the slightly popped hood.
