Any Jetski gurus here?

Hi guys. I just took my 1989 Kawasaki 650 sx (stand-up ski) out of mothballs and am giving it an overhaul. I've had it since new, and it's been sitting for nearly ten years. It's completely stock. I've torn it down, and there are some parts needing attention that might best be upgraded now. I know n...

Re: Tonys 93 bronco

Looking really good Tony but what's with that ET finger on the left?? LOL Phone home....... What he said! Tony, that looks awesome. Are you using regular steel wire/welding rod for the plating? There was a post on RDC recommending using silicon bronze rod / wire for the plating to the cab. http://w...

I fly RC helis and planes, but I can't get anywhere close to what that guy does. I can do it for like ten seconds on the simulator, and then BAM.

Re: Drain Plug

I'm not sure exactly how it's built, but since the stock pan is basically stamped sheet metal, I would guess that the drain plug receiver is actually a separate threaded insert either pressed or brazed/welded in. So if the threads are good, you may have a small tear or hole where they meet.

It sounds more like the female threads on the pan itself are bad rather than both of your drain plugs...

Re: Anyone getting an Error 324 page on GFB?

I've got a very fast FIOS connection, 35Mbs/35Mbs. I tried clearing the cache and cookies on Chrome, but I still get errors with it - but Safari is error-free. Must be something else wrong with my Chrome browser.

Re: What is this chingadera?

A couple of things, first: You can see how a couple wires pulled out, I can fix it, but it's going to be pretty tough http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c354/Travisfab/DSC03037.jpg If you've got a '95, you likely also have the wrong ignition control module installed in that heat sink. The one you hav...

Re: How fast have you gone in 104" wb Bronco?!?

Over 100 on a Vermont highway in the middle of a sub 20 degree night with no interior and no insulation. No issues with stability whatsoever, I was more concerned with freezing to death. Broncos are beasts.

Re: Anyone getting an Error 324 page on GFB?

May be an issue with your virus program. I've got a mac, so no virus program. If no one else is having the same issue as me, I'm going to lean towards an issue with my Chrome browser (and not the GFB site) - this problem surfaced when I switched from Safari to Chrome. I tried reinstalling and clear...

Re: Tonys 93 bronco

Tony, looking awesome! Question - how/where are you tying in the back the legs to the frame? Thanks!! The back legs are plated body, and then there will be a bar that is lying flat on the ground, that ties into the two most rear body mounts. Thanks, that's one my two options - the other is to have ...

Anyone getting an Error 324 page on GFB?

The past week or two I've been getting the following error page 50% of the time when loading GFB pages/links. Usually a 'refresh' brings the page correctly up. Anyone else experiencing this? No data received Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data. Here are some suggestions: Reloa...

The (un)official Post a Fun Youtube Video Thread

Not sure if we have one of these yet here, but this works really nicely on one of my forums. Post cool videos you've seen on youtube, vimeo etc. I'll kick it off with a few here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACkmg3Y64_s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te0V71sGoxA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJes...
