I drove to Phoenix today and picked up my new drive shaft, no more back massages for me! Truck is mostly ready, new radio purchased tonight so we can rock out to some tunes while chasing the desert fun. All paperwork is accounted for. Headed out Thursday after work to Bucks house to start the fun. ...

Re: Dual sport??
I'm on a 2007 525exc and highly recommend owning one. The 2007 was the last year of this motor and it is an anvil. All around great bike but I agree with the others if you are going to do more street than dirt go XR650L or even a KLR650. Then there is the KTM990............

I'm in, either on my bike or riding shotgun in a buggy. Buck are you handling the reservations at Mike's for the group or are we on our own? If you are put me down for a room with 2 beds. Anyone else have advice on the best hotel security wise? Depending on group size, we could rent a house or condo...

Dude I seriously have the front end you need, the full race setup from Mason's class 8 that I bought. 100% bolt on bucket, beam pivot combo with shock mounts, radius arms, etc. Bump stop in middle of coil, everything fresh, heim RA, and spherical bearing pivots on the beams. Fresh powder coat. New a...

I'm in for sure Sat. I'll be running the Superstition and OW portion of the run.
Buck - I will take you up on that offer. I should not need it but it's nice to have just in case. I'll bring a small 1 gallon RotoPak, easy to strap in.....thx!

Re: Question for the drivetrain gurus...
Thanks for the info. I was looking at the frame rail width issue, it is going to be close. Hopefully someone will chime in who has connected a 1356 to a C6........ My play bronco came with this combo from the factory. 1989. Good to know, thanks! So the 5.8's must have been C6, while the 5.0 was AOD?

Re: Question for the drivetrain gurus...
The BW1356 should be plenty tough for this, I had one in a class 8 truck for years and it was never a problem. The main reason to use a 205 on a go fast rig is that it's shorter and allows for a longer driveshaft which enables more suspension travel if you are doing a linked rear end. As far as flo...

Question for the drivetrain gurus...
I am putting together the drivetrain for my TTB F100 ( yes I will post up a build thread) and have a couple questions. I already have a good 351W in the 450 HP range. I have decided to go with a manual valve body C-6 instead of the E4OD it is currently bolted to. The F100 will not be a DD so I don't...
