stock width Cone Full floater complete without diff

This is out of a customer prerunner. 300m axles, 40 spline, cnc calipers, cone hubs, text 760-803-9469 for pics. Rearend has less than 700 miles since checked for straightness. Only reason it is coming out is because we had Sandy build new wider one. It is complete minus the diff we are keeping as a...

Re: Bronco Speed Class???

Sounds great get a bunch of sponsors together as Jeep Speed does and you will have entries and then you can present to BITD and Score for them to explain that your class is a Class 3 short wheelbase 4x4. Some of the jeepspeeds winning are 100k+ builds. I will make you a deal I will be your first Sto...

Re: Bronco Speed Class???

I understand the theory and if I could get away with a $500-$1000 prep my race truck would not sit in my garage I would race every race. But the reality is when you spend $10k+ on entry, rooms, fuel, and other race related costs to race with a premere org. like score or bitd then you spend the money...

Re: Bronco Speed Class???

Sounds like an expensive class 3 set up. Why not just race class 3? So sbf, stock width with fiberglass and 37s. Take into account that its easy to spend $20k+ building SBF, $10k+ building trans, $12k+ for rearend that lives much less the score legal 2" cage. But you are worried about someone beatin...

Re: Cone front hubs

With all the tolerance build up's of the different parts, you really need to turn each one individually. Then mark it and keep it with that set. Yes from my understanding thats what he is doing. Machining for each hub after bearing races are installed and bearings are set. Yes they will be hub and ...

As far as the crush sleeves on the D44 that makes sense. Is Sandy using the crush sleeve to determine length for a solid spacer like you would do on a pinion set up or is he just running a crush sleeve? Interesting nonetheless.
If I understand correctly its a machined spacer final.

Re: Cone front hubs

I wish they were a little larger on the OD. They look to be the same DIA as GN hubs. With the big studs there isn't enough meat between the stud and the OD and they like to crack. Brandon, did you weight them? Are they actually hub centric? Material? I will have in hands at the end of the week. Yes...

Re: Cone front hubs

I talked to Sandy for an hour in depth on these hubs this past friday. He designed these 30 years ago for Rod Hall I believe he said. This picture is of them installed on his personal Leduc bronco. They are a nice piece. We have been working on a aluminum hub design as well but it is proving to not ...

I believe Jerry has calmed down a bit. Its a really good thing pistol pete doesnt have a bronco. Lol. But in all seriousness this is a great website and very informative. There are many of us that appreciate the efforts of the founders. So I must say thank you. There has been a ton of money saved by...

Re: Was it something I said?

Social Media is taking over the world. I quit posting our stuff here cause I got a ton of negative feedback. I have been accused of copying someones design when we were making parts years before them. A lot of people do not know this but 90% of our products are private label or sold through dealers ...

Re: Short Course Links Question..

If you are building from scratch I would build to the bronco. Figure out your ride height figure out where you want your instant center for handling purposes. This depends on tab placement on the rearend elevation wise in reference to center line of axle. Then cycle for drive shaft plunge ect. Bronc...

Awesome buddy keep up the champion status for 2019. We will be there to support the cause again next year. This is one of the cooler and better causes that we are a part of. I saw some updates from the Camp beyond the Scars I believe it is going on this week. Also side note Thank you to all the fire...

1997 E40D, ford f-250 8 lug rear end, 1993 8.8 rearend

We have some parts laying around from some vehicles we robbed parts off of. First is a 1997 Ford f-250 small block bell housing E4OD with manual t-case and TC. Next is the rear-end out of the same vehicle it is intact and ready to go. I bought Chassis to design some front end components off of so my...

Hey buddy looking good. Bring exhaust exit past similar to Bret's was in that pic hot air and occasional flame you will see needs to be directed past the fiberglass. Well this Bronco now has a new owner. Horse traded it to one of my best friends/past race partner. Ironed out the deal after working on it for 3-4 months and glad to see it going to a friend. I highly doubt he will ever pop up on here cause he is not a computer guy.

1966 F-100 TTB Resto mod rolling chassis

Here is a rolling chassis we did in house over the last couple months. A lot of people do not know our capabilities or what all we do at the shop. It is a hobby shop that started as a place to do personal race prep which turned into doing stuff for friends to now we have done and doing several full ...
