Re: Steering Systems - Stock, Superunner & Equal Len. Crossover
Van hose is crap routing. Use adapters mentioned above and -6 hose. You can use a 19” cut length and a straight and a 90 fitting or a 16” cut length with a 90 and 45 that are clocked 90 apart. I made both and installed the straight and 90 before realizing the 90 and 45 could route a little cleaner.

Re: Steering Systems - Stock, Superunner & Equal Len. Crossover
I swapped out my Tommy Lee hot rodded plastic housing ford pump in my 96 for the sag pump out of a 95 E150 along with the bracket and pulley. It was a 15 minute swap (havent bled system yet though). I never had any issues with the Lee pump since install in 2010 and Charlie from PSS would even use my...

Re: Ball joints
I recently bought full sets of spicer, AC delco (napa blues) and TCX (recommended from a ball joint manufacturer I work with on ball joints i Have made)...TCX was hands down winner out of the box. FInish, press tool included and it is a metal on metal joint so as long as it is kept greased should la...

Re: Bronco Fuel Tank Skid
If you use your bronco, you want one. I went through 3 tanks before building something since nobody made one and now Greg has this making it a no brainer. Any bronco guy who uses his shit would be dump NOT to buy this.

I wouldnt take those for free unless I was restoring an era specific project. You would be better off with a set of bilstein 5100s at $70 a piece.

Re: Used shock buyer tips
I will add that most of the time if you have to pay someone to go through used shocks to rebuild or setup for your truck or bronco...... your saving gets eaten up quick. I buy used often it does not scare me.... but I know cost of new and complete done on what I am buying and set up cost. sometimes...

Re: Used shock buyer tips
Anyone got any useful pointers when it comes to buying used shocks? How do I determine the manufacture date? Does it matter if they've been regularly rebuilt? When did Bilstein stop making their higher end shocks/bypasses with a yellow finish and go to silver? Is there a way to identify shocks from...

You detail this in your RDZ ad Kris: F350 double cardan front drive shaft so no vibes with hubs locked on highway Can you elaborate just a bit? I get this and I'd like to implement soon for the exact same reason. replace the T case yoke with one from a F350 with 1356 tcase ad get a NOS driveshaft f...

Re: Kritter's 96 Bronco
Also since I always forget numbers...rear ride height is 10" "axle tube(3.5" tube) to frame with full fuel, full spares, full gerry cans on bumper exactly as shown. Travel is 18" metal to metal strapped, rarely does it go to full droop, rarely does it hit the bumps unless two people are in the rear ...

Re: Kritter's 96 Bronco
Some more morning dump spam...new leaf revision went in smooth. Rear shackle bushings were a little hammered so I replaced the sleeves and used an uber high end grease I bought just for U joints. HOpefully this pack is proven in baja this next week and its something I might start to offer for sale o...
