Re: Steering wheels!
To help those looking for adding a wheel and keeping the CC there is a guy named George Gast and he says: "You can txt me at 678-eight eight two-4278. That’s my cell. I make the cruise control plates and the retainer caps that go on the back of the buttons. I charge $225.00 plus shipping and I accep...

Re: Stroker motor talk!-Threads merged
digging up an old one to add my experience and details. Steve at power train dynamics spec'd my build and we just finished up the dyno tuning today. Steve specd the motor, Greg Hall built the motor, Dougans balanced it, steve tuned it. 363ft-lbs to the wheels was the results, E4OD with all big inter...

Re: 96 351w Mild Build HELP
There are plenty of EB guys who have mildly uilt 351w. My plan is to do a top end upgrade, until I can build a bulletproof E4OD. Here's my list: 56mm BBK Edelbrock Intake TrickFlow 170 Twisted wedge heads Bassani Headers Crane Cams # 444212 Then dynotuned by Powertrain Dynamics in Huntington Beach....

Re: Upper Ball Joint Press tool
You have to press in the top one first and then the lower one. Yes I use a cup with a slight angle to it. Made by snap on but I think you should be able to take a cheaper one and hit it on a burr king to grind a little of an angle into it. I’ve use the harbor freight ball joint press to install the...

Re: Spindle data
One more picture to add to the thread...I plan to make a spacer for the old style 5 bolt so it will still work in a pinch. Anybody know where late model 5 bolts can be bought NOS or remakes? Does anybody know the late model ford part number?

slip shaft swapped and tight as can be now, no more slop...so if you swap to a 3 bolt flange stub, swap the slip shaft too.

Upper Ball Joint Press tool
So in Ford's infinite wisdom they didnt put a square face to hold a bj press install the upper ball joint. They did put a nice square face for the upper to press out though but it also happens to the the land for the upper. What is everybody using to install the upper ball joint? A custom angled bal...

Pump spun and banged up the range hub and low range fork. The po...

Re: Custom Fuel Pump Hanger- Plate or Not
I made a bracket for same scenario...puts fuel pump sock at same point as oem and is also adjustbale if your tank is smashed in like I have had in past. Bolts on just like factory pump but uses 1/4-20 hardware.

Re: slip shaft difference 80-83 84-96
The issue is the slip is loose and I dont recall if I used the 80-83 slip or my 96 slip so I was trying to measure and see...now I know the difference! I probably have the 96 slip and engagement is lacking.

Re: Kritter's 96 Bronco
are you expecting 400lb at the flexplate or to the rear wheels. I dont see how you could achieve this on the stock 5.8 intake. its such a bottleneck. Now you could run a edelbrock truck lower and a mustang eddy upper with the throttle body pointed to the driver side, this would be shorter and fit u...

slip shaft difference 80-83 84-96
What is the difference between the 80-83 slip shaft on the passenger side stub and the 84-96 slip shaft? Splines are the same, U-joints I think are the same. The 3 bolt stub vs C clip is the difference on the stub axle but I cant figure out what the difference is on the slip? Is it a different lengt...
