Re: 2015 eco boost expedition trail rig $28500
The shitty part about that is ford fucked up and gave the 4wd expo to a group that built a lowered SEMA rig. Total screw up on fords part to give a 2wd drive to the lifted project team

Re: Stub axle keeps braking
The spring in the coupler is a fix to keep the stub in the carrier reducing load on c clip groove through the travel, not an oe part. Under high torque and traveling, splines dont work well for plunge and you are exceeding the strength of the C clip groove holding in the stub and thats why you get f...

It would have been lower if I had decided stroker before buying heads but after I aquired all the parts I decided stroker and the heads were not returnable.

Took the fresh 408 to smog check today. Passed all things measured at less ppm than “ave” on everything. Pretty damn good for the power it puts out and no illegal smog check required.

converting from stock canister pump to stand alone pump
In another thread on plating vs not plating a fuel pump bracket I posted a photo of the bracket I made for adapting a walbro gss340 255lph pump to the stock hanger assembly. With this style of pump in the big bronco tank i had concerns of fuel starving at low fuel levels. I went out and found that l...

Re: Steering wheels!
If anyone gets a kit from George - take pics. He machines them & I want to see why. Willie has one of these & I was thinking of borrowing it, measuring it & making a cad file to have parts laser cut. Wondering if the things really need to be machined for some reason, or if I know the cut thickness ...

Re: slip shaft difference 80-83 84-96
Slip shaft is longer and by the lack of slop, I will assume inner spline engagement is better(longer) since thats all I changed.
