Re: Tina Turner
Tina's finally back up and rolling again. I had started another thread trying to figure out which direction to go when I got home from Mex. I ended up getting a whole new 3rd member built. I did 4:88's, big bearing, nodular housing, and the True Trac. I was gonna do the install in the driveway, but ...

Re: 2" (D) x 2.5" Fox Bump Stops
They're the short body bumps, so I don't think they can be extended.

2" (D) x 2.5" Fox Bump Stops
I've got a pair of Fox bumps (2" Diameter x 2.5" length) if anyone needs em. Used, but seem to be in decent shape. No cans. Let me know if you're interested. 200 bucks for GFB'ers. Thanks.

Re: Strongest limited slip for a 9" 31 spline?? Need help.
So, it looks like I'm gonna give the TrueTrac a try and stick with 31 spline. I gave the Air Locker some serious consideration, but it's out of my budget at the moment and I heard the 31 spline 9 inch version is the weakest they make (something about the teeth size... I dunno). I found a good guy to...

Re: Strongest limited slip for a 9" 31 spline?? Need help.
Is a Detroit true-trac a viable option?? I think it's most in line with what I'm looking for, but I'm wondering if it can handle a beating.

Strongest limited slip for a 9" 31 spline?? Need help.
So, I've been reading myself in circles trying to figure out the best application for my new differential (just blew up my ring and pinion on my last trip and wanna deal with everything at once if it's gonna be apart). There's a handful of threads I saw, but was hoping to get some more specific info...

Re: Tina Turner
So, figured I'd give a post-1000 run down. Baja kicked our asses this time around. The plan was to meet up with our group in San Felipe and run the course from Coco’s to San Juanico. Heading across on the Coco’s road we got a flat. Big weird cut right in the middle of the tread (ie: not patchable). ...

Re: Tina Turner
Here's some pics jay sent me this afternoon. Headed out to pick her up in a few days. He had to scrap the inner fender wells and build a tube structure. The seat mount turned out super cool and versatile. He also reran the brake lines down the radius arms. Very happy w how she's coming along, althou...

Believe it's damn close to 7' by 5'. I asked him to mount it solely to the fiberglass shell. Told em I needed it to be strong enough to walk around on. Waiting to see how they went about it.
