Re: 1990 Ford150 4x4 "Bajamobile"
I'd like to order the hubs online. What part am I looking for exactly? I went on the Warn website and there's 5 different options for the Dana 44. Can someone steer me in the right direction?

Re: 1990 Ford150 4x4 "Bajamobile"
I"ve definitely spent wayyyy too much time drooling over the Baja F250. It's nearly exact to how I'd be my truck if money wasn't a concern. Hopefully I'll have a very similar substitute though. I love the durability and functionality of it. When I keep talking to my friends who race and are heavy in...

1990 Ford150 4x4 "Bajamobile"
So, I posted this build to race-dezert but it didn't get a whole lot of love. Figured I'd start a build thread on here too. The truck is a 1990 4x4 F150, single cab short bed with the 5.0. The plan is to turn the truck into a multi-purpose Baja cruiser. I spend quite a bit of time in Mex and the ide...

Re: Correct installation...
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I'm bouncing back and forth between CA and New York right now for work, so I don't have much time to go suss out shops in person. I'm not sure if it would be in bad taste to post the quotes I got from Solo, but they seemed very reasonable and I have confidence tha...

Re: BajaF250
Thanks for posting that. I looked around on ebay today and found something very similar for 70 bucks. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on it this week.

Re: Correct installation...
Been on the phone getting some various quotes today. Some pretty outrageous and others suspiciously low. I think I'll be going with Solo to do the front install. Still debating over the rear. These guys know the ins and outs of the TTB front end and gave me a very reasonable quote to put the front e...

Re: Correct installation...
I did talk with Geoff about it, but being that they stay pretty busy with more in-depth builds I think the prices will be quite a bit higher. I might go for it anyways though. Desolate Motorsports is the other recommendation I got for the install.

Re: Correct installation...
I'm not sure if it makes a difference as far as the rear driveshaft, but its an f150 and not a bronco, so I believe the driveshaft is longer and not the limiting factor. I know the spring under set up is supposed to help significantly with axle wrap issues as well and you get a lower stance on the t...

Correct installation...
I'm new to this site, but gonna be posting my build thread soon. I'm currently collecting parts to put together my 1990 TTB F150. I wanted to pick your brain and get your thoughts about the installation process of some of the parts i've been gathering. First off, I bought a pair of trussed beams (st...

Re: BajaF250
I've been drooling over this thread al afternoon. This truck is officially the inspiration for my new project. I'm gonna start a build thread on mine soon (going to be very similar in functionality, but probably not nearly as nice). Is there a 3rd seat up front (looks like there might be a jump seat...
