Re: David's little mule
I remembered you have to pay to ship that in and was factoring the $2k in my comment. You still did well on the thing as crazy as it seems price wise. The broncos are just stupid right now. As are 70's trucks. Things I used to score for under $1k are now well over $5k. It's insane. I just wish I wou...

Re: David's little mule
And sadly enough $2,700 seems to be a steal at current prices
I doubt you'd be able to get what you did for the same price still

Re: Lets Talk Full Floater
I suspect that the drum p-brake functionality is directly tied to the rotor hat's internal diameter. Which would be a good argument for the F-150 or even the F-250 versions as they likely have a larger ID. Yes seems like it would be a pad to hat contact surface area thing. The F-250/350 versions fr...

Re: Lets Talk Full Floater
I may have to move to the F-150 system, don't know yet. I did ponder it before starting with the easy route and going with the Exploder kit. It is a common thing to see people use too much rear brake in rear disc conversions, and then have to dial their performance way down with a proportioning val...

Re: Nothing special class3 pics
Hopefully you are in love with yours still and want to see it through. I am, but I've gotta face the music on mine. I haven't touched mine in 3+ years maybe... I got to the point where I had very limited time to work and I got out of the habit of trying to squeeze it in. With my wife really wanting ...

Re: Tailgate latch help
Is the rod binding in any way or the latch itself sticking or hanging up on the passenger side? Would shortening the rod a little bit there fix the "not enough travel" thing? Doing so may make the handle "engage" the rod quicker and therefore start pulling sooner? The 70's Ford trucks have similar i...

Merry Christmas Rod. You getting some time to progress on the mustang?? Merry Christmas to you and yours, too, Steve. I WISH I had time for the F100, let alone the Mustang. :? Been building a deck out back for the last month, plus sparodic work. Also, Mick's Bronco looks like it shit a piston or at...

Good for you! Keep the dream "alive" lol.

Ouch. Hate things like that. It won't help any at all, but you are nowhere near the only one to be doing/dealing with something like that and feel like doofus after

Re: ISO Bronco
Got it. Still, you never know. A nicely worded email noting you're not trying to lowball and you know numbers are a bit off, but $16-18 was your budget and to let you know if he gets to a point where your numbers may come into alignment. Worst thing he can say is no and if your at least polite in th...

Re: ISO Bronco
If that last one is a "little" too much mover your budget I'd be seeing how negotiable the guy is. That thing is leaps and bounds a better starting point than the 1st and very easily has the price difference in parts already installed. Heck suspension upgrades and then wheels and tires could hit $5k...

Re: ISO Bronco
Not really. The Giant drop brackets are for 4" lift, whereas the skyjacker are 6". You'd probably need new coils as well as I'd bet you don't have enough room in the alignment cam to correct the camber with a 6" lift coil and 4" beam drop bracket. Get the truck and drive it for a bit, see if it need...
