12v electric Air Conditioning

Has anyone done a electric Air Conditioning system that has a 12v compressor? Some benefits would be AC for the back seat and no horse power loss on motor, no over heating the motor and you could run the AC when you are waiting for a tow truck when you blow up your motor [emoji2957] maybe run two, o...

Re: Southeast f150 build

I love the short bed super cab fords. I would love to build a TTB 4x4 long travel 1975 AutoFab Super Cab short bed.

Good luck with the project 👍

Re: What axles for my bastard beams

I thought hard about the D50 stub shaft and probably could have found one on eBay but I worried about the fit in the beam pocket. I opened the hole more but the slip yoke boot rides real close to the 1/4 plating on the beam. Looking at your photo the slip yoke thickness looks to be the same at the ...

Re: What axles for my bastard beams

I have been thinking this over with my hybrid Dana 44 with Dana 50 beam ends. It is getting extended +3 per side and I will be running F250 knuckles and Brakes. The nice thing is the F250 uses bigger 1350 axle U-joints. For the extended axles I was considering chromoly cut to length axles with the l...

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn

I have a Holley retrofit in tank fuel pump. I have never liked the frame rail pumps people run. Seems people have them overheat and go out. I like the simplicity of the Holley and if the pump itself goes out, replacing it is easier that the stock pump. I am definitely going to carry a backup in my p...

Re: D50/D44 Go Fast TTB – Gathering Ideas

Does anyone know if the Passanger side bearing retainer plate on the 1980-83 Dana 50 the same as the Dana 44. I have started collecting my 1995-1997 F250 knuckles and Brakes. I am thinking of my 1982 Dana 44 and want to run the bigger 1350 Dana 50 axle with the retainer plate, I think the Dana 50 ax...

I had these done for a customer by OMF recently Screenshot_20230720_142723_Instagram.jpg Screenshot_20230720_142618_Instagram.jpg Screenshot_20230720_142703_Instagram.jpg Those look awesome Robert. If you don't mind, how much did OMF charge to do the conversion? I like that style of wheel, but I am...

Re: Aluminum Beadlock conversion

Hey David! Sounds awesome, and look forward to seeing your progress. I scored a set of slot mags (aluminum) for my pops' 73 bronco, and he had them converted to beadlocks by OMF in Riverside. www.omfperformance.com Pretty sure their price was in the ballpark you mentioned above. I have a set of for...

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn

Finished up the 38 gallon gas tank mounting straps. I just wanted to fab up something simple combining the factory parts materials. More importantly its something that looks race inspired :-) Hey Matt I know this is a old thread, but I am stuck at home with a bad back and like looking through peopl...

Aluminum Beadlock conversion

I found a guy https://www.macfabperformance.com that converts the aluminum centerline wheels to a outer beadlock or even a inner beadlock. I wish Hutchinson would make their Rock Monster slotted aluminum double beadlock in a 16.5 rim with 8 on 6.5 lug. I checked out the new 21-22 aluminum slotted ma...

Re: RCV Axles for TTB center joint angle

I did some more research and figured out I can use my Dana 44 differential with the Dana 50 inner axle shafts that use a 1350 U-joint and larger axles. I just bought a set of inner beam ends from a Dana 50 ttb that have been already cut off the housing. So I can keep my Dana 44 ARB and bolt on passe...

Re: Start Your Go-Fast Build-Rear Suspension

new question.

Does anyone know what year's of Chevy trucks came with 64" leaf springs?

Other question, does anyone know what the Deaver part # is for the 64" springs used in long travel suspension like Giant motor sports uses?

I am putting together a Terminator x MPFI system with a Edlebrock Super Victor MPFI 4150 intake and Edlebrock Victor EFI throttle body. I want to keep the 351w low enough to fit underneath a 72 Bronco hood. I plan to run a low profile plenum and a 1969 Mach 1 hood scoop. I was just looking into Inje...

Dana 50 third member in a Dana 44 Housing.

Does anyone know if a F250 Dana 50 Third member will bolt directly into a Dana 44 housing?
I know the axles and U-joints are different, but I plan to put Dana 50 ends on a extended Dana 44 housing.

Re: D50/D44 Go Fast TTB – Gathering Ideas

I was wondering if anyone has done a retrofit on a late model Dana 50 or 44 passanger side axle bearing retainer, like 1980-1982 Dana 44 3 bolt versions? My thoughts are to drill and tap the 86 Dana 50 passenger side of the housing for the inner axle, bearing and seal. I am not sure the c-clip housi...

Re: ARB AIR LOCKER

I did find a 12v compressor that boasts At 40 PSI, users can expect ~8.9 CFM and at 80 PSI this drops to 5.2 CFM. It is by Sherpa 4x4. I also like that it has a 100% duty cycle @ 80psi. Since it shuts off at 90 psi, it would be safe for the seals. I may be wrong, but I think it would only need a sil...

Re: ARB AIR LOCKER

Imbest comments So my next question is, if you add two compressors, does it double the CFM output. Example, 7cfm at 30psi, withe two compressors would be 14cfm. Just wondering. If running a tank, I would think it would fill the air tank faster. yes 2 would be twice as fast as 1 for tire inflation T...
