My 96 has one, its mounted to the top of the shell, just inside in the center. it has on off and a setting for when the gate is down.

Looks great man, can't wait to see the finished product. Bumpers seem to add that finishing touch that really sets a truck off from the rest.

My auto hubs just up and stopped working about a week after i bought the truck. If you have the 3 bolt hubs, and go to manual, invest in a set of dental picks.
