Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

Most likely a 18" or larger wheel is needed to clear.
That's what I figured. This is the brake setup you're talking about Slablocal? Those things look badass, ~how thick are they??

Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

What year f150? 15" rotors!?? That's HUUUUUGGGGGE! What size wheels do you have to run to clear the calipers. What the heck are TT rotors??

I just bought me an 8.8 rear disc conversion :) , so fronts are next...

Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

I like the rotors from the newer (07ish) dodge trucks. 13.23 dia. 1.1 thick with a 3.09 hole. They should clear a 17 inch wheel no problem Hmmm, I love the idea of using a ~13" newer Dodge rotor, wonder which caliper would be the best choice to use with these: The rotors are only 1.04" thick so mos...

Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

Wow, I'm lovin' that Cpt_Radical's Wilwood setup. Any of you guys on RD know what size wheel he's running?

Wilwood has 12.19 x 1.38 hat mount rotors @ $88 a pc, I wonder if that's what he's usin'. Couldn't find any hats listed for 5x5.5 on their site though, wonder if he had some custom ordered?

Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

I'm interested in trying to fill up my 17" wheels with more rotor and better calipers but nobody makes anything TTB d44 specific / bolt on as far as I know. http://www.gofastbroncos.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=133&start=20 Gunit's Wilwood setup is about the closest I've seen so far, but requires ...

Re: HEADERS

I know L & L makes them for 429/460 Broncos... >:) (www.landlproducts.com) Might try asking if they've made/will make a fenderwell exit version of their 302/351 headers. I have (and am selling) their chassis exit 79730A longtubes and they definitely made more power on my 302. It's gonna suck having ...

Re: Air Intake Tube?

Seattle, not sure what TB you're using (stock/56/61mm) but that k&n molded tube has very small outlets at the end designed for use with a stocker TB. Probably a bit restrictive for your 408!

Convoy, that 4.9L intake tube has a 4" I.D. on the single opening??

That looks awesome! How are the lines where the fender meets the headlight trim ring? Appears to be pretty flush w/ no gaps or overlap. I likey

Can I pay one of you guys to install mine someday?? ;)

Looking for BBK 35110 or 3511 shorties / shorty headers

Have a set of JBAs w/ 1 5/8" primaries for a Lightning (351w w/o EGR bung, coating needs to be redone) or a set of L&L longtubes 1.5" primaries 3" collectors that I'd be willing to trade. Would prefer the 35110 but would gladly take the 3511 p/n.

Re: Bulletproof D44 TTB

Hope I'm not hijacking here; Can a d50 be built real stout for use w/ coils and 5x5.5 b.c.? Would i need custom knuckles? i'm still not clear on this, but there were some coil sprung 4x4 f250s w/ the d50, right?? There's a good deal on a d50 in my area and I'm seriously considering picking it up. Ho...
