Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
Lots of wasted discussion on gas motors . Important only for commercial use and most of us have only occasional use. Beck said what is important. Do not ignore === === === watch these videos. He does a lot of comparison and checking regarding pressure and GPM. GPM is more important than pressure, as...

Re: Batteries
About a battery choice for a Frig? Yup, I use an Odyssey Group 65 start battery 74AH @20 hr rate. A better choice would be a deep cycle unit like a Group 31 RV battery sold by many specialized battery companies. In my travel trailer I have a Lifeline deep cycle AGM that has 125AH @ 20 hr rate. Other...

Re: Batteries
Now running two Odyssey Group 65s. One it wired to the big Dometic frig (40 Qt) for multi day trips like camping. It uses a standalone battery using the truck to keep it topped off when driving. For day trips I use a, much smaller Dometic 10 Qt that is connected to the truck electrical system. All t...

Re: Antenna Delete Ideas
I drove my Bronco with the whip removed for years and Now Rugged has one of several antennas there VHF's there. My new F150 - same deal I just removed the whip and replaced it with a proper threaded plug. Maybe you could find a less conspicuous cap/cover for the hole after you remove what Ford provi...

Re: Tools, Spares and So On?
Paul, does the cooler have a third battery system or run off the dual battery style set up? ======= Runs on 110v or 12v. We use it as a freezer in the garage when not in the rig. I have a 2nd 12v battery for our multi day camping trips and it is nice to not have the start battery go dead. Both the ...

It is 4" diameter and about 16" tall. That seems to be the size I see on most rigs. Just carry one.
Mounted on the drivers seat runners under my legs for quick access. Look on Amazon for the holding bracket

Re: Tools, Spares and So On?
Drove my '96 in its home in Baja for something like 16 years and never had to replace parts. Yes I had broken stuff like power brake booster and front wheel bearings and sure enough I did not carry spares for them. It gave me comfort to have spare oil/atf that was never needed. I had a big pit box f...

Re: 96 spindles
Welcome to the dont fit club. It is not the bearing it is a bad spindle. Yukon spindles are machined incorrectly and they deny it. I asked around and found that several off road shops buy the yukon and put them on a lathe and make them correct. Use the dimensions for the old spindle. Look for my old...

For 95 Bronco the Ford spec for hot idle is 20psi @2000RPM when using 10W30 oil. The light goes out at 5psi. These numbers are from the factory manual

Re: Wondering if any gfb peeps have replaced the shell glass
Thicker than the stock glass is nearly impossible to install because the only rubber you will find is for stock thickness. Please dont use thicker than stock or you will end up just throwing away what you bought. Are you aware the top side windows have a 3D curve to match the body lines. However fla...

Re: Oil pressure gauge?
Buy an aftermarket electrical gauge and replace the stock sensor with the one that comes with the new gauge. If the two gauges agree then return the new one. Or buy a mechanical gauge and necessary fittings and a short hose. Compare the new mechanical gauge readings with stock. If they agree then re...

Thanks for that video. They made a point of saying they did not know which v6 motor Ford provided.

Re: Air Pump/emissions BS
Just curious.
Does the VIN tag tell you if the rig was a CA or US one. CA ones should not have the air pump just like all 96 ones. 95and 06 CA rigs were the same regarding emissions. The 95 CA rigs are few. Regardless with respect to differences between 95 and 96 there are many other differences.
