Re: ISO Bronco
Just clicked on the link and saw the truck with the skyjacker and that it's a 6" kit. Not the end of the world, but 6" does put more leverage on the beams mounts than 4" just due to the extra length of the beam brackets. Here's a link to the Giant beam mounts to get an idea on how people add extra s...

Re: ISO Bronco
The issue most people have with the skyjacker/rancho or similar kits is they use drop brackets to lower the beam mounting point vs. the cut and turn on the beam end to correct camber while lifting. The 4-6 added length of the beam mount drop brackets (and radius arm brackets if the kit in question d...

Nice score. Some alcoas and Tony paint magic on that red and you'll have people trying to buy it off you I bet.

Re: How wide is the stock 8.8 in a bronco
Thanks, I think I was sold a rear end that’s way too narrow What lug pattern is it? There were 8.8's in a few rangers and also in explorers. They would be narrower of course but are 5x4.5 lug pattern. And yeah I've got one of, if not the narrowest 9"s produced sitting here. They are out of the earl...

Re: 94 Raptor killer
Does just the pedal pad hit the cage, or the pedal itself? A slight bend in the arm above the pedal may bring it close enough to clear the tube. BUT, you'll for sure want to test "shift" it a few times to make sure your foot is good on the tube. Last thing you'd want is to be trying to operate the c...

Re: Wilwood Brakes
Not a bronco but I put one of the wilwood tunable (turn it with a know to adjust the bias) on the crew. I plumbed it under the dash (along with a line lock separating front and rear in case I ever broke a line) so I could adjust if needed between having a full load/bed or having no weight in the bed...

Re: Posters - Rough Riders/Chevy Thunder/Vortec Trail Blazer
Had no idea these posters brought that kinda of money. Me either. I've got the rough riders one framed in the garage with it's spare behind it in that frame. I had long been searching for the other one in this "series" where they guys are all sitting on a western porch with the trucks in the backgr...

Re: WTB factory GT bar / roll bar
All well and good. If Mark is actually a guy with the parts he should be able to answer and basic questions any buyer would have. This is a pretty quick way to weed out scammers on parts like this. Since we're on the topic, here's a couple other things to look at: Post count and join date. While it ...

Re: WTB factory GT bar / roll bar
Careful of the above post and ask for VERY specific pictures if you start talking to this guy. LOTS of scammers starting to hit the wanted ads in classifieds now and they are getting pretty sophisticated for sure. I put up a wanted add on dezertrangers and got a bunch of replies like the above. The ...

Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction
The orange paint must be Imron or similar, it does NOT want to come off. Having to resort to paint stripper (sad stuff these days) and power wire brush to get it off. Which means I get an all-over orange magic fairy dusting! Yea! NOT. With it being good stuff would you not clean and scuff it and to...

The Ranger is Vaughn Gitten Jr's rig - very impressive in action. I was along on some rides with it at EJS this year. Loren Healy can 'wheel the heck out of the new Bronco. Todd Z. Yup. They talk briefly about the ranger in that vid, and that Vid was shot at EJS I believe. I got into town the follo...

Stumbled across these videos tonight. They definitely upped my appreciation for the new broncos. To see the thing do the Hells Revenge trail in stock form was pretty impressive. I just did that trail last month (about 5 days after the video was shot coincidentally) so it's fresh in my head how nuts ...
