Just a bit of advice, before you pay for 351M-400 heads have them mag'd.
If you can find them buy the 2V Cleveland as they will most likely not be cracked and wont. < Identical but more metal.

Re: Pure gasoline vs E10
E10 will in time rot any/all rubber part in the fuel system IF the rubber is not formulated/rated for 100% Alcohol compatibility. Even that fancy Aeroquipt/braided lines if not rated for booze. I've been seeing it a bunch in the past few years but you know it cant happen to you! So, I knew about it,...

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Don't speak of snow yet Chris - we gotta get a bit of summer up there before that! Not that the current rain has helped with the "summer" feeling, but I hope the forecast is right & that is clearing up a bit. Supposed to be 80 for the latter part of this week when we get up there! Ok, BUT several y...

Ran a blade down the driveways and the parking area in-front of the shop, laid down the first course of gravel.

Re: What do you do to make your bronco reliable in the desert?
Just had a Filler Neck (Rubber hose) fail on a run. Never had one go in the past 3 decades, but thanks to some azzholies in Government putting Alcohol in Gasoline the rubber parts in the fuel system are now beginning to fail. Simply wonderful! So inspect every rubber part, or Hose and be certain tha...

Re: F250 TTB Question...
So, I had time to get under the pig and as the photos above show there is not space for a typical Coil spring.
Darn it, it sounded like such a simple fix.

Re: Swapping: “E’lektrikl compatibility”
Either splicing into a different harness or starting from scratch is still a big deal. Plan on many hours of homework. I do stuff that is much less complicated, but I am retired and have time to do it. Then there is the build and buying plenty of extra wire and other supplies for the task and then ...

Re: F250 TTB Question...
Bottom line is a leaf ttb is a terrible starting place. Why bother trying to fix. Coils always are better for just about any application and they make a better starting place for a build. ^^I completely agree with this!^^ it is the reason for the thread. In my "Opinion" there is really no practical...

Re: Swapping: “E’lektrikl compatibility”
i'd plan to swap the wiring harness also. this will be a big project, both trucks down to bare tub for the swap. i don't think the steering column is the same either. may as well build a custom dash and wire the truck from scratch. Building wiring harnesses is not bad if you start from scratch it i...

Re: Swapping: “E’lektrikl compatibility”
the body shell is the same so yes you can put a 92 dash in a 87 bronco. but you also need to transfer the other stuff that bolts to it like the big aluminum bulkheads that are found under the 92 dash. and of course you need all the other stuff that is in the dash and bolted to it. so is the wiring....

Re: F250 TTB Question...
What are you looking for in a "what can I expect from this setup" Chris??? Personally I LOVE the idea of a supercab body with a bronco rear section on a std. cab, long bed F-250 frame. Wheelbase stays reasonable, space in the cab is comfy & the rear end is still able to be locked/sealed up. This wo...
