Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
So thinking about it there are a few things that are cool about the 1356. I am not bias either way. 1. The factory speedo hooks up to 1356 and runs my cluster. 2. Its aluminum. 3. Its aluminum. 4. The output side has big bearings that according to Culhane is a very strong part. 5. I didn't have to c...

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
How did the race go? tThe race didn't go as well as I would of liked. We finished, we got a 1st place SUV trophy, and the crowd favorite award. At the same time I destroyed the 4th 3rd member that's been in the truck. Gotta figure out why I keep destroying ring and pinnions. And the engine started ...

Thanks brian, you rock!
Yes the race was run with the chevy putting down 350 wheel horse power through the Culhane 4l80.
The truck is plenty fast, for now

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
Awesome Mike! Good to hear you pumped it out & got to enjoy it. Hopefully you had enough spare moments in the LS swap to take a pic or 2. Does Culhane have the parts for the 4l80 to 1356 available now? That's a yes and no question. Can he do it? Yes. Is it all custom? Mostly yes. Lol so as of right...

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
Thank you everybody for the kind words. I took 7th overall which was a victory for me, considering doing the L's swap and paint work and a new clip In about 25 long days. The truck runs like a striped ape. Makes 350 wheel horse 350 torque and does 108 miles an hour at 5900 rpm in 3rd gear. Also this...

speedometer sensor off t case
My speedo cable has a hole for one bolt that holds it to the t case.
I need one that is just the push in type with no hole. My t case is from a 1994 I believe and my Cable is from my 1990 truck.
I need this part asap. Shipped, delivered whatever is clever... Thanks.
Mike,

Re: BEER
I like beer... Right now my go to is "ruthless" rye IPA. Made by sierra Nevada. I lean towards beers with a high alc/volume. Stone Cali Belgium Stone old guardian barley wine beer I think its upwards of 11% Steve mentioned some blue dog ale, I've had that and its very good. Since I'm neighbors with ...

Re: engine centerline to chassis centerline
Ryan, since I'm far from stock do me a favor and measure your rear d shaft at ride height, center to center ujoints. And with the front double u joint measure from the front one.
Thanks. I'll have an answer later today.

Re: engine centerline to chassis centerline
Yes the engine and transmission is a tight little package in comparison to the 351 and e40d. So much room for activities!

Re: engine centerline to chassis centerline
Thank you gentlemen! Ls and 4l80e are in and done! 2.375" offset to pass side for anybody wanting to do this. If you would have moved the engine back so clearance on the main cross member wasn't an issue, could you have centered the engine and still had clearance for the front drive shaft? the engi...
