And back from the polisher, these looked pretty sad when I took them in.

Re: Factory Alcoa Wheels

I just had a wheel place strip and polish mine. 40$ a wheel seemed well worth it after I tried to do one myself. When I get back home I'll post up a pic of how they turned out.

Re: ISO Preferred spring rate and initial valving front

What tube layout on the BP's?

CO 15 comp/ 8 rebound , 3 bleed holes open. 450/450
BP 20/8's no bleeds open. If it doesn't have overlapping comp tube you may want bleed poppets.

Re: Factory Alcoa Wheels

All the self pull yards back her have been pulling the aluminum wheels of vehicles before they hit the yard. There are pallets of wheels wrapped up ready to go to the recycler. Piss's Me off to no end. I have gotten the last couple sets off guys parting out trucks.

Re: New Bronco from the factory??

My reasoning is that like the Raptor when it first came out they will be scarce on the lots and bring above sticker prices. I want to be able to order one with the options I want, not some package deal. I pretty much hate al the rims that they come with. Also do not want all the fancy electronic dri...

Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction

There was a company in Wisconsin? making aluminum hubs for several axles. They had 5X5.5 for D60's. I can't remember what the name of the place was though.

Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction

245 sounds high for a 9". I have picked one up by myself several times. I'm also pretty sure a 9" is lighter than an 8.8. A lot less cast iron in the assembly. Now if you were talking trussed/tabbed with floater hubs and 40 spline axles, I might see it being closer to the 245 number. But a stock 31 ...

Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction

Win the Lotto lately? LOL...... https://gearworksinc.com/product/gearworks-hp10-high-pinion-10-thirdmember/ It's just that a D60 is going to be at least a 50# penalty over a 9". Then you still have to weld the tubes in. If your still running leafs, the low pinion will not effect your travel numbers.

Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction

The Pinion is a couple inches shorter on the 9" giving back some of what you loose with the lower positioning.

Just go HI9............

Just about anything is better than wasting money on the 8.hate.

More strange that a stock 351 could start to crack their nice motor mounts.
What trans mount were you running?
