Re: Random updates... what are you working on?

The internal baffling and the stock plastic elbow got in the way of the new roller rockers that were necessary with the AFR heads… had a threaded bung added to the valve cover, installed a Radium low-profile banjo-style fitting and trimmed the stock PCV hose to fit… turned out great! Thanks to Kritt...

Re: This site.

Last one. The no edit bandit got me again. I didn't make the last one, but I've made enough to know they are a damn good time. And I heard the last one had some pretty epic libations going for all. In world of edits and filters, GFB is a bastion of what one says. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. And...

Well start planning it! Word on the street was that HuckFEAST was a go for next year. I'll show if it happens!

Re: Cargo/tool storage solutions.

Wilson has the sweet setup... Saw these at Home Depot yesterday...seem pretty solid and have an o-ring on the lid, place for a lock or tie down and stackable Thanks. There’s a few more things to do but I’m pretty happy with it. One of the issues I found with most boxes, prior to the Front Runner bo...

Re: Cargo/tool storage solutions.

It’s not a full load out, but here are the essentials that we pack for an off-road trip. As I said in my last post, I’m updating to the Pro boxes. I’m also looking for some some low-profile fluid containers to use instead of off-the-shelf quart and gallon jugs, which would allow me to use the standa...

Re: Stretched GFB by Rugged-Wilson is back!

The drive train in the Bronco was totally stock until I bought the Mogi unit from Kupiec. It supposedly was a fresh one. Steve I saw your post last April about you breaking it. but I missed a follow-up on the replacement. Can you tell me what you are now using? Hey Paul, The same transmission, just...

Current Cargo Solutions

Pictured here is a medium load in since it was only for KOH (in other words, stuck close to basecamp, did not need communications product to support racers, and help was not far if needed). Mexico trips generally means three more boxes. Boxes are from Front Runner and will be updated with their new ...

Re: Let’s talk Motor upgrades ! Non Stroker..

The Edelbrock Truck 5.8L intake has been on back-order since the middle of last year that I know of. I really want one for my 408. Summit persists in showing them only 3 months out, but that date keeps sliding. I have been told by a friend who needed an intake and investigated things that when Edel...

Re: Let’s talk Motor upgrades ! Non Stroker..

I haven't read the thread, but I just put AFR heads on the 147,000 mile engine in Wilson. They made a HUGE difference. It already had Bassani headers. I wanted to put an Edelbrock intake on it but they were on backorder and I needed to get it back together. I plan to have another short block rebuilt...

The family and I took Wilson to Pozo Saloon yesterday for lunch... if you're ever in the area, this is a fun fire road that begins near Lopez Lake.
