"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
New wheels showed up from Method. Also, found a truck with a clean cab finally. Picking it up next week. I'm on the fence if I try to make time to cage it myself or just drop it off at a shop. All of the good shops seem to be back logged so I may not have a choice. Got around to checking the gears i...

Front abs sensor removal help!
It's not pressed in. Maybe rusted. Try a good penetrant soaking and pry from backside. Front of hall effect sensor is delicate.

Re: Front abs sensor removal help!
There is a small odd sized 12 point holding it in from the backside.

You have removed the small 12 point bolt? Once that is removed they have always come out for me.

Re: Emergency Medical Response Training
Had Philo or Dan been seriously injured in Baja, I would not have been prepared to assist in a life saving operation and that bothers me. Dan and I would have done our best to talk you through it... Lol. Most of the Medical guys at races do classes. I know Rick Leivas does. Matt Bailey (Black N Blu...

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
I figured you'd just want to buy a cab. I only plan on using the cab. It seems when you find cabs already removed from trucks the doors are gone and whoever has them has not been careful when moving them resulting in rocker / floor damage. A complete truck for $500-800 will return $100-200 in scrap...

The original cab was never tied into the frame. That caused the cab to push around the frame slightly. It also has a 1.5" cage and I want 2" tube cage. Removing the old cage, replacing the roof, and straightening the cab will take longer than just starting with a fresh one. These trucks are simple s...

"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
Most trucks I see are about 2k... looking for something cheaper... if I don't find one I may have to bite the bullet and spend a little. I am also interested in body mount dimensions for 67-72 trucks, as I'd like to have aluminum pucks made. I may have to purchase a urethane kit to have something to...

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
So... been searching for a cab or complete truck as a donor. Found a cab in Reno but I am not sure I want to travel so far. I also ended up ordering a set of Method 101 Race wheels, Glassworks 5pc front fiberglass, and Autofab 5" bulge rear glass. Probably going to pull the trigger on a new set of M...

We were doing the goat trail and at the very end of that section about MM 380 or so you come to a hard 90 to the left on a concrete road. I hit the brakes to slow down and the rear applied with way more force for some reason and the truck got sideways. The rear tire caught a rock or piece of concret...

I flipped my tie rods on the spindles on one truck with positive results. Seems to work for about 3" drop pivots. Do you have to drill out the taper or how does that work? Did you have trouble tightening the nut on there without the taper? I have taper reams. I re tapered the hole from the opposite...

Got my driveline back from Adam's in Henderson. I recommend them to anyone needing work done. They got my driveline done quickly without any BS. I had them retube it since it had a slight bend and install solid u joins (no zerk). When I upgrade the truck to 1350 or 1410 joints I will have them build...

One of the local JY had a set. The first time I went there they said no. Then I asked for the rear axle and they drove me around and I found 8 sets of equal length beams.toddz69 wrote:Where did you end up finding beams, etc?
I have another set coming from Ryan Jubera someday....

The sound mat makes a noticeable difference just opening and closing the doors. I won't know for sure until after I use it next week in Mexico but I bet it will be much nicer. I have vinyl floor mat and a headliner ordered too... I'm sure those will help also.

Camper special beams and 14 bolt full floater. I'm leaving Friday for the 500 so these will have to wait until I get back to be disassembled and cleaned up. The beams aren't the super burly high GVW camper special beams but they should be fine after plating. Rear end will get a spool, truss, shaved ...

Bronco won't shift into 3rd
Not shifting to 3rd and 4th can be MLPS related. Speedo also needs to work correctly and relay info to PCM. If you removed the ABS controller you need to jumper the VSS signal.
