Re: Ford 9" from an '84 in a '95
This is for Phoenix0783-- The machine shop that did your work obviously seems to know what they are doing-- do you have their info and what did they charge for the work? I can easily fab that bracket-- so if the savings are enough I have no problem firing up the bandsaw or my welder--its how they p...

Re: Ford 9" from an '84 in a '95
I just did this a month ago. I got a housing from a '78 and put it in my '95. I had the output flange on the xfer case machined locally for a lot cheaper than the kits you can get. Just divide the 108 teeth on the 8.8 sensor by your new gear ratio to get the number on teeth you need machined. Round ...

Re: Truetrac chatter?
Something must be wrong. I have thousands of miles on my front TT with the hubs locked with nothing to report. I find the thing totally transparent. I wonder if your rear setup is different? Ford uses the TT on the F350 dually (D60 or 80?) and it works like my front, meaning it is totally transpare...

Truetrac chatter?
I finished the 9 inch swap with 4.56 gears in my '95 a couple of weekends ago. Ever since, whenever I get on it around a sharp corner, like pulling into traffic, I can feel and hear a chatter/binding noise. It seems fine other wise and doesn't do it in a straight line. Any ideas?

Re: Paisley,or
I think you were gone Sunday when we came back to camp and Geno showed everyone this pic. He didn't quite stop in time for a gate. Luckily he wasn't hurt at all. Notice how it has a new kickstand. http://www.codra-racing.com/paisley/IMG_2769%20%28800x600%29.jpg My dad I will probably there if that's...

Re: Scott Wooden,s class 3
I saw that going down hwy 26 just outside of Beaverton when you guys were heading down for the Yerington race. I had just picked up a set of extended radius arms that Kevin made. I put them on that night and then drove down the Yerington to watch the race the next day. I forgot where we watched the ...
