Re: 4 door grocery getter

Got a little adventurous yesterday and went to the shop after work to get bottom side of chassis welded and install cab. I love how this truck is coming together. I am contemplating trying to run a tailgate outside of the fuel cell to cap it off. We took 12" out of the wheelbase. 105.jpg 106.jpg 107...

Re: 4 door grocery getter

So all the parts have started rolling in from Laser. Picked up these parts Friday afternoon and spent 10 hours over the weekend and now it is almost ready for the cab to go back on. As you see link mounts are set and everything. This has made it very nice.

So is that a stock frame or did Centurion stretch it?
To the best of my knowledge Centurian stretched from a single cab frame. It required a body lift to clear rear kick in frame and rear of cab.

Re: 4 door grocery getter

Happy Saturday All. Made a little more progress this week. Getting ready to chop the frame while we wait for laser to cut and form parts. Gatlan killed it on the rear frame section and links. we shift shocks back to keep out of the cab with the shortened wheelbase. They are a 55" link. I had him inc...

Re: 4 door grocery getter

oof, that is a lot of shock. you doing the 4.5 or 1.5 wide beams? It is a lot of shock but that's what the tuner that will manage the way the truck works recommended. Its a 4 door with 80 gal cell its going to be pushing 6k-7k easily ready to go to baja. I have 4.5" Cho beams. There is no way to pa...

4 door grocery getter

As some know I love my bronco and I loved my supercrew but did not need 2 prerunners. So I set out to combine the 2 a ttb 4 door truck. I sold the Supercrew at the beginning of this past week and promised my wife my dream truck. I recently welcomed my daughter into the world and I may never get the ...

Re: FITech EFI system questions?

I destroyed a 408w in less than 10 miles on Fitech. If doing any injection I highly recommend port injection. My motor leaned out a few cylinders. Lesson learned do not put a $500 management system on a $10k motor. On that bronco I installed carb and it runs great still 5000+ miles later. What mani...

Re: Hollander's New Bronco

I am also surprised more people don't make steering swingers like that so we can keep our tie rods straight. huh Ya the steering is still Glenn Straightiff (Complete Fabrication now Agile Off-road) design. Glenn set up kept good geometry and has been proven and works great so why fix something that...

Re: Hollander's New Bronco

Does the front axle spin freely drooped out like that? Would expect yokes to bind up and snap if spinning while dropped like that. We clearanced the heck out of ours and still could not get that much angle out of them. Now we run an RCV CV joint in the crossover joint. Hey Chris. This was before we...

Re: Hollander's New Bronco

We finally spent some time on the Bronco over the last month or so. Pretty happy with how it is coming together. Another 25-30 hours and I will be able to drive it hopefully. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these crazy times.

Re: Leduic swap meet????

New venue is way better then Morongo or the place in Hemet. It had a great turn out at the beginning of the year and it was on pretty nice grass not dirt. But it is an hour further for me so it kinda is a bummer. We typically go sell from 5pm Sat night till 12am-1am so driving an extra hour is a drag.
