White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build

I try to stop reading your thread, way too many ideas. You've got a pretty serious truck, I just want to build a poser!

Looking forward to seeing this come together. It's going to be a great truck, you've gathered so many nice parts.

White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build

There was one listed in Palm Springs for $7500. It only had about 15k miles less than the one I paid $2300 for. I'm sure they're proud of their trucks, but a little out of line. It's a good time to buy these trucks, you can get a lot of truck for not much money. All you need is this thread for inspi...

A few more things are mounted. The radiator, cross brace, some wiring bits. Most of the wiring is done, I should have it back soon. These pics were sent to me by Don, who is doing the wiring. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/31/e3c83ce797ec1464f6fdc6f6a8cfd59f.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/...

The F-Bomb

Not really an update, the truck is still away getting wired. Things are looking sweet and I can't wait to get it back. There will be pictures soon. In the meantime, I bought this 93 f150 xlt, 5.0, 2wd. It's got 122k on the ticker, a really clean truck. There are a few things (I really mean a lot) th...

Prerunner Bronco Pic Post-& other cool stuff too...

Was down at the 1000 and ran into this. I talked to the owner who was super cool and talked to me for a while. He said Walker Evans had built the truck in 1970. He had cut out the cab cage and redone it, with plans on finishing the rear soon. He said he has thought about installing coilovers, but fa...

Re: Baja 1000 15

I looked for a thread about it earlier also. I'll be headed down there for sure. I haven't figured out when I'm going to go. I'm still holding out hope that I will be able to take my truck, even if only to do donuts in the wash. Otherwise, and more likely, I'll just go down Thursday through Saturday...

Well, I'm glad you "don't mind it." I think it looks rad.

They do great work, just killing it lately.

Re: 1990 Ford150 4x4 "Bajamobile"

I always thought this truck was cool. I love seeing it get even better after changing hands. Cars usually go downhill after the original owner/builder sells. Keep it up, love it.

Re: The F-Bomb

" NORRA isn't really a race" OK....... That's right it's a " Rally" Ha Ha, you caught that? Of course, I was being cute with the domination bit. But, I would like like to do NORRA. The truck fits into a fun class where there is usually some competition. I would love to join the fun. The truck is ge...

Re: The F-Bomb

Plans for NORRA? I plan on total domination, a class win, and lots of tacos. Of course, I haven't figured out how to pay for this. In order to carry out my planned domination, I'm going to need a partner and some help along the way. This thing was never meant to be a race truck, but NORRA isn't real...

I've been busy, it gets closer, but it's still not done. Here's a few pics. Re: The F-Bomb

Those allow the remote reservoir. They just pop in place of the stock reservoir. The 90 degree hose adapters are threaded into them.

The unit is mounted under the floor, no room for the reservoir. The reservoir is actually in the cab, with the hoses routed through bulkhead fittings in the floor.

Re: The F-Bomb

That's a GM master cylinder. Those use O-rings. It's just static pressure there.

Thanks guys. I'll have more progress soon. I plan on having it out this week for exhaust. This is the big push to get it done.

The dash is in. I used an ABS plastic dash topper so I could get a clean cut. The foam of the old dash pad was all but impossible to cut cleanly. Besides, I had a less than perfect dash pad to begin with. Sprayed it gray to match the door panels. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/10/ffaa14de7ce3e...

Re: The F-Bomb

I reread the figured out you probably mean the brake m/c. Those were off the shelf parts, though one needed machining to work with that particular m/c. They have a 3/8 pipe thread on top.

Re: The F-Bomb

Everything on my pump and steering box is all converted to AN fittings, so no adapters needed on those ends. You might mean on the hose end? These ends are crimped, and don't swivel. On hoses with two 90's, one end gets a crimped 90, while the other end gets a straight end crimped on. Then an extra ...
