I'll trade you for a used non-dropped-center hood!BajaBronco13 wrote:Thanks Scott. The fenders are Autofab fiberglass but the hood is a steel hood. My Autofab drop center hood does not fit because of the shock towers coming up too high and hit the drop center section so I'm stuck with a steel hood for now.

Re: Nicks 95 project
Nick is doing an awesome job getting this done on a budget. I don't know what he'll have into it at the end, but it'll be a hell of a lot less than mine and will work just as well. Keep up the good work, Nick!

Hug your Crew Chiefs... and your fathers.-RDC
I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys know or at least know of Ken Leavitt, a fellow Bronco owner and racer. I just read this on RDC. So I'm just now getting around to spreading this very sad news. My father and Crew Chief, Ray Leavitt died while fishing on October 14. He was 64. He died with a fishing ...

Re: Gear ratios
3.55 all the way. It's perfect because it's just low enough that I still get shitty fuel economy on the freeway (C6 trans) and just high enough that it's gotta be wound up to make power in the sand.
If I ever switch to an overdrive trans I'll use 4.10 gears with 33" tires.

Re: Pic post
It's kind of confusing. There is a "Add image to post" button and a "Upload attachment" button. The "Upload attachment" is the one I'd like for people to use. I'll try to get the "Add image to post" button removed but that can't happen until the forum transfers to gofastbroncos.com. Sorry for the co...

We've been considering this for a long time but finally got our asses and did something. Some time in the next day or two it'll go full pro-style and will no longer be hosted on freeforums.org.

Re: Steve's 84 Bronco
I originally installed the front end with the stock quad-shock coil-buckets and mounted one shock in front of the coil. I welded a temporary tab onto the front of the axle-housing for this.
